#Sun Giant farm?

Did you use your spyglass or the track offering enchantment? Conversly, you can face Sun Giants in desert vaults or Boss Rush
I did not use the spyglass; is that necessary? I did use track offering and it lead me to a bishop and a few fabled critters around the map, but no Sun Giant.
As for the spyglass, does the level of the spyglass have an effect on the distance one can see?
The spyglass isn't necessary, but it helps a lot. They have a range of about 150m for most creatures in online mode, but the apex creatures (Sun Giant, Humbaba, and I think Elder Eoten) have a much farther range at which they will show up. Nothing is currently known to affect the distance a spyglass can see, neither tier or upgrades
I haven't ventured into the vaults alone, and surely not into the Boss Rush. I'll find a group or at least one OP escort 😆 . I'll try using a spyglass a couple more times in the meantime. Thank you for the information! I'm assuming the presence of the Sun Giant in Ascended Hunt realms isn't a given then.
lol, looking for an OP escort for Boss Rush. You're talking to one. Wanna go?
I would love to, but I have to leave to go to town in half an hour, but maybe tomorrow this time, if that would suit you? I'm in EEST timezone, so we might not match up later on
I should be able to do this time tomorrow or earlier if you prefer. Shoot me a DM when you're ready
Done deal, thanks so much! ❤️
As a note, the first level of boss rush is only 50, and they go up by 5 every wave. Most people who succeed in hollowed moor or the gauntlets can get to wave 10 or so without much issue.
Not to that having an escort is a bad plan - higher tier infusions require higher waves. But it's still something to note
All spyglasses are identical in terms of function, the only difference between them is the materials they're made out of.
So higher tier spyglasses provide more stats to your offhand tool than lower tier ones, useful for grenade builds and such.
But they all have the exact same range and function.
