I decided to play around a bit with some more subtle rotations to see what I could get. Ended up building a couple angled crafting nooks in the basement of a stave home.

Yeah, I just wish we had those cool stockade walls with barbed wire and spiked tips. That would go nicely with the stockade doorway and the idea of a fort. Mobs were spawning way too close for comfort. I kept coming back to deer on the roof until I finished the walls around it.
