I suppose this is an all purpose question but when should I begin building a definate home? I had a few benches in Abeyance but they were under a stick tent. Now I can build more advanced floors and walls but I still haven't gotten the knack of travel. So any thoughts on setting up an actual home with a cairn would be lovely.

I'm still using my Sylvan shack in endgame, it doesn't matter too much where you place it - except DON'T place it in abeyance (you have a teleport to that realm from anywhere)
that being said, I regret sylvan a tiny bit as there's a rare resource there that I would like to reset the map for

I also wouldn't stress too much as you're going to unlock new tiles and will want to scrap the entire thing eventually

Yea, early on in the pre release I tried to move all my crafting to a new house. Whew. But so much is different now.

As I said, I am newly to Sylvan's. When I played pre-release, there were basically Forest, Swamp and Desert. What is the new arraingment?

I presume there is a "Forest" realm and a "Desert" and a "Swamp". Do those come later? Or is Sylvan the "Forest"?

the storied realms are one of the three biomes, but with special names. so sylvan is a named forest
