#Estate in Realms Above Abeyance?

Lore wise as per the tutorial and Abeyance card - Abeyance realms are the only "safe" realms from the Pale and in a sort of stasis. This is why cairns only count as respites within these realms.
Game wise - I do know there's a bug that allows people to build outside of abeyance (cairns counting as respite), even though the game's built not to. But the only benefit is better card combo's and in some cases the high realms looks nicer.
so there's a chance building outside of an abeyance realm could end up being a problem if that bug is ever fixed and realms outside of abeyance can no longer be used to build cairns and such?
Correct.
That and the possibility to lose it anyways, for example the people losing bases right now, it's trying to send them back to an abeyance, and there's some people who weren't living in abeyance, so now they have to do a lot more work to get back to that realm, as the game defaulted to the abeyance as "respite".
Not saying it will be a continuous thing, but things could very much go wrong if built where the game thinks you're not suppose to be.
Thanks for that clarification! For now, I'll stick to abeyance then
If you ever want to change up the Abeyance, you could also make a crude realmic transmuter, and apply minor cards that way if you ever get bored of seeing your realm the way it is.
If the game is working as currently intended, it should be noted, you can't respite back to cairns in other realm types. You can build cairns elsewhere. And you can build bases elsewhere (people often do in order to have things like farms or processing plants for particular resources with particular cards in play). But the abeyance realm is the one intended to be your 'main base'
I'll also point out that some recipes in the game are still locked with the text "must progress further in abeyance realm". This is either generic text or additional progression may be added to the abeyance at a later date.
