#Not able to 'remove' (via build mode) placed building parts

Bit confused about this, and need some confirmation - I've went into a Desert + Antiquarian realm, found a generated house (had some high level spinning wheel plus some augments). I decided to make it into a mini base, and started attaching foundations (which to my surprise snapped to the building!), built some stairs, posts, etc... A few minutes in I realised I made a mistake, entered 'build mode', and hit 'V' on a stair to 'remove' it. As I did that, I got a message that I 'cannot move or delete structures placed by the realm', or something of that sort.

My question is this - Did I mess it up because I snapped the foundations to the pre-generated building? If so, should I still be able to remove the wooden stairs by hacking at it with an axe? Thank you.

I believe all building blocks are distructable, you will likely lose some of the materials used to make the building piece in the process if you destroy it by damage...

I don't mind losing some mats if I can remove that stairs by whacking it 😄 Still unsure if it's meant to turn everything you place as "generated by the realm", or it's a small bug

I know that if something is ACTUALLY generated by the realm the message appears, but I guess attaching more pieces to it will make them count as part of the generated structure. If you were to place it away from the structure, you shouldn't get that error
