I have played this game for 2 days now and I can't still get a hang of it, I have done alot off quests and so on, but where do I settle down and build a house that I can return to and store my loot ?

As far as i know you can do that anywhere, you just have to place a special Building there and you can return there from every other realm and even other places on the same realm.
