I want refund

The premise of this game was that it will be online. It was what the game advertised all along. And it was what set this game apart from other survival games, and why I chose this game.

This is why I bought the game at release of EA.

Now just day after release of EA the company suddenly announced offline mode , completely breaking what was promised and major direction of the game.

This is basically bait and switch

Steam denies the refund because I played for longer than two hours. But this was before Inflexion announced major shift in what was promised.

I think this warrants a refund, and that my ask for refund is fair at this point.

This game is in early access. Early access means it’s got a lot bugs and glitches and a lot of room to upgrade/patch. I don’t think you understand what early access are. You expect to play game and expect this game to be ready. It’s not. It wouldn’t be out if it was not early access. You would have to wait for another 4 years for this game to be completely ready.

They clarified that they are still working on everything as before, just with an additional optional offline mode due to demand. It didn't sound like they were scrapping online play or changing the direction of the game

Yeah all that announcement meant was that they would be adding an OPTIONAL offline mode for players who preferred it. It even says in the announcement it wouldn’t be taking away resources from core development

@modest matrix They're creating a seperate offline mode so that folks without good internet can also play? you do know you can still play online, and that'll be that, right????????

how is them adding an additional game mode gonna affect you in anyway to justify a refund? lol..online isnt going anywhere.
