I am unsure what is prohibiting me from placing the pieces down. I have the material and everything, and, as you can see, It worked on some places of the roof.
Any ideas or solutions?

I think I might have found the problem, so I guess it's a good idea to make you aware of it.
Seems like they're unable to be placed on corner pieces. However, nothing else can be placed either.

Try placing beams from the foundation up to the roof, it should secure your roofing and let you build it but I also struggle with roofing so I know the pains lol
I saw it in a youtube video, the moment the guy added the beams it was fixed
If youve played valheim before, it works similarly

Beams aren't available early build like the Basic Builder was doing. I was expecting to have those. I put up 2 door walls next to each other and then was able to finish my roof. Not sure why those vertical beams aren't available in the beginning.

that's a good point, it should be available at the earliest
also believe there should be an easier way to build up high, its very difficult to reach sometimes
