first couple harvest should be all you need for the seed situation

I left mine for about one ingame day. I was getting 5 or 6 sunflowers per plot. However, one plot gave me 5 seeds only. I will follow up later as I add more and see.

I harvested my plant right after it sprouted and it only gave me a single plant and no seeds.
