Are your shortcuts full ? you need to unequip somthing from the shortcutbar and equip the weapon and it will be put onto the empty slot

No, I unequipped buttons 3,4, 9 and 0 to check both bars but it's not working

Ok, nevermind. I restart the game and it works now. Idk what happened but its good now

You have to put the weapon in the top slots above inventory for some reason... not the hotbar.
