#How many realms or realm gates can we have open at once, and will the number change for multiplayer.

Though I’m curious, it’s not really a big deal in solo play. My main concern is being able to act independently in multiplayer. For example, if I want to go to a desert world but my friend wants to go to the swamp, will we be be able to open separate gates or will we be forced to choose which one to go to together?

Just to add a little detail - it could be that we can have multiple portals but they all open to the same location - maybe you want to phrase your question more like: "How many realms or realm gates can we have open at once? If 2 or more, can they open to separate realms?"

Im pretty sure this has been confirmed to be one portal is openable at a time, you'll need to pick if you want to go to the swamp or desert, unless your respite realm is in one of them

I’ll find it later, but it’s not just an assumption

It didn’t, I just wanted to clarify that I’m not just making it up

I just saw this here and I had posted this on steam:

I have several questions about the realm cards and how they will be used/setup. We can use them to create a recipe, then that recipe will open a randomly generated world based on the recipe if I understand things correctly. You have your respite world (Base) and 1 (Remote) world to explore, per person? How will this work in multiplayer communities? Will the player need to be online to explore their world? I see myself working in the base world (Respite) with everyone. We have a portal device, but depending on who's online and what recipe is used, we are limited to the portal that was last left open?

Could you elaborate further how this concept works for multiplayer communities? Can we have multiple realms open and access them on demand whenever anyone is online? Here's an example:

  1. Respite World (Home Base) - Contains everyone's efforts for the community.
2.) Resource World - Where the community harvests supplies and is setup on what the community is trying to gather.
3.) Hunting World - Where they go to hunt/kill quests, etc
4.) Random World - A place of danger and wonder that all can explore as needed/wanted.

Just wanting to know how the game addresses something like this...

Thanks!
