#Does "Dig deeper" register as a problem not solved if we solve it eventually?

I don't understand what you're asking. Dig deeper should be shown after you have solved an exercise (passed all the tests). Reading or not reading it has no impact on whether you pass the tests or not.
@quick sparrow
There is an option of looking dig deeper after trying for a few times or did i not understand that correctly?
I don't believe it shows Dig Deeper until you pass the tests, regardless of how many attempts you have.
you are right
The Dig Deeper is intended to show options and alternatives, ie further explore the exercise after you have solved it. It is not meant as hints or clues to help you solve it in the first place.
wouldn't it be more benefical to have that than community solutions?
and will community solutions invalidate the solving later?
i don't need solutions just a way to approach
Exercism has both. It's not an either/or.
i mean if it is not solved
Dig Deeper isn't designed to help you solve the exercises. Neither are the community solutions.
Community solutions exist for all exercises, since it's just other solutions that passed tests. Dig Deeper needs to be hand written for each exercise on each track and doesn't exist for most exercises.
Tank you so everytime if i get stuck and can't find my way around it i should ask here?
*Thank
There are exercise hints for some exercises which are designed to provide hints and help people solve exercises when stuck. And there is always mentoring or #1082698079163134073 when stuck.
Yes, #1082698079163134073 is specifically here to help people who are stuck.
yes the hints are mostly implied to me. I sometimes look at it because i can't understand what is needed. I f i don't understand from the tests, i tend to parse it into chat gpt.
i read philosophy but some explanations are really convoluted where much simpler language could be used.
Honestly that is my main problem with the site. And i heard similar sentiment.
I did Guidos Gorgeus Lasagna 4-5 adays ago, but honestly it was waiting for me for months.
It is just not beginner friendly.
No critique just a suggestion. I think it is a great resource.
Thank you for replying.
I won't take any more of your time.
Much of the documentation is actively being rewritten to be easier to read. If you have specific exercises or sentences which are hard to understand, and if you have suggestions how to make them easier to read, your feedback would be helpful to hear, preferably on the forum.
Super, that is great to hear.
Because i think i'll be pretty lost on medium problems.
Thank you again.
If there's something specific you have trouble with, specifics and details would be helpful.
Are you having trouble understanding the explanation? Tests? Solving the exercises?
No just looking ahead, hopefully i get there.
