Sub1 (subnautica)
Sub2 (subnautica 2)
BzSub (below zero subnautica)
It's supposed to say "sorry" not that thing 😅
I love how no one has picked bz yet
I picked BZ. I wonder how anyone could pick Sub 2 when it’s this early in development.
Removed the the Cyclops as one of the exception for placement. This was incorrect.

Rephrased the sentence about placement to make it more clear.

Can someone one tell me what this thing in the front of the old aurora is? It looks off...

It don't look right.
I just got my Switch 2 today, and Subnautica was the second thing I tried on it. Everything was so much better. The only words I have to describe it is that it was gloriously spectacular. Definitely gotta try BZ on it and see if my Seatruck dock lags like the Switch 1 did.

Yep, Switch 2 is between PS4 and PS4 Pro in terms of performance
I already knew the thing was powerful before I bought it, but I still somehow underestimated it!
I just spam deep shrooms/acid mushrooms since they are everywhere and give like 300 or smth power each.
My theory is that it was like the safe shallows, I mean we can all agree. Then the aurora crashed. And to be clear some of yall may think the aurora landed on the base that bart had in the trailer but it was far far from the aurora crash area. What are your theories?
Well there was that one trailer with Bart
There weren't any Reapers in the trailer though...
adding info about where to find magnetite i THINK it should be right as every single playthrough ive done its the exact same

Hey Aeywoo! I'm reaching out on behalf of Fandom’s Community Activations team regarding Subnautica 2.
With the game expected to release soon, we are exploring the possibility of supporting the wiki around launch in collaboration with the Subnautica developers. Typically, this involves a temporary visual refresh of the wiki, with our team working with official assets to highlight the new release. This can include:
• A refreshed homepage layout themed around the new game, possibly including modules about the game (depending on what information is available pre-launch)
• Updated colors, key art, and promotional elements
• Some wiki page development using official materials (where helpful!)
These updates are usually temporary around the launch window (often around a month or so). After that, admins are free to keep, modify, or remove any of the changes depending on what the preference is here, and reverting anything should be simple to do.
Before we explore doing any of this, we wanted to check in with admins first to see if this is something the wiki is comfortable with. I also don't fully know if the wiki plans to cover Subnautica 2 or if the intention is to stick to the other games (I assume so, but figured I'd ask just in case - I know some wikis prefer to separate things more).
If a collaboration like this moves forward, we can also offer active admins a digital gift card as a thank you for your time and support during the activation.
Please let me know if you're interested or if you have any questions!

Have you played the game?
You may have just forgotten, but before the Aurora explodes the PDA says that the Aurora's nuclear fallout may have dangerous effects on the local ecosystem. Nuclear fallout, plus the radiation leaking from the Aurora should mean that it is nuclear.
I hope that did not count as spam!
Pls don't block me for another 2 months
I'm also pretty sure it's directly stated that it has a nuclear reactor. It was definitely carrying the parts of one, which is why Ryley can get the blueprint for it
I built the Cyclops before getting either of the other vehicles or a base. My mom said I should call it the “big beautiful sub”. I guess you could say the Switch 2 made Subnautica great again, lol. I’m really enjoying the updated steering on the Cyclops for controllers and the mouse mode is also very cool (WARNING: since Switch 2 controllers aren’t shaped like a normal computer mouse, it can start to hurt your arm a bit if you use the mouse mode for too long in the wrong position. I learned this the hard way.). I wanna get the Cyclops sonar because when I tested the Seamoth one briefly in Creative, it looked the way it used to on the Switch version before they updated it, and I liked it that way. We’ll see if the Cyclops one looks right too. They had to change it a bit on the Switch because it made the game run badly, but the Switch 2 doesn’t have that problem.
I have encountered a glitch where sometimes after exiting a storage, I cannot move. This is fixed by accessing and exiting the storage again. I have also encountered a glitch where I couldn’t select anything on my PDA even when I put it away and pulled it out again, and I was able to fix it by physically tapping the screen with my PDA open. This glitch only happened once, so maybe it is a rare glitch. Kinda wonder what other new glitches I’ll run into.
Keep calm is most important
They changed the cyclops steering for controllers? It was fine how it was (imo)
Random stuff from my garden
I don't get the BZ hate its actually (in some ways) better than the original (original is still goated tho!!!)
What xbox are you using? I used an xbox one s which is one of their weakest offerings and it ran fine except for the mushroom forest and some structures not loading in. No frame rate drops at all
Reaper for the first time is something else
I swear i've gotten this one too
@Mackeyandcheesie The steering was updated many months ago on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox. The Switch didn't get the update because the primary purpose was to align the game with the newest Unity engine model, which the Switch didn't have problems with. The update has been out for a long time now, but it's my first time trying it. The Cyclops used to be stuck trying to turn left or right when you only wanted to go forward, but by now you are probably used to the updated steering controls.
@Mackeyandcheesie I'm pretty sure I have the exact same type of Xbox. Subnautica ran just fine, but BZ was a little meh with the fps. The 2025 update seems to have fixed it though. It also doesn't help that my Xbox is an old used one, and the fan isn't in great condition. With the prices of GamePass, I don't want to invest in a decent Xbox though.
Nah they're chill
Coarl Tube Sample (it's the only way to make it usefull in early game
That has a use?
So i was playing for my first time ever (I just got the game lol) and after a few hours i went to check out the Auroura and it started the24 hour countdown and i have no idea how to get in to turn it off bcause all the entrances are blocked and I do not have the tools to get in. Anybody know how to get in or what happens when the timer goes off??
For me BZ was alright and this was after like ~8 years of heavy use
GP prices are getting steeper though
Added engine version for modding help among just more information
Visual edit
It explode :[ IDK how to get out though. I believe the explosion is instakill but am not certain about that
Added missing commas and fixed a subject-verb issue.
Source edit
You don't get in. The explosion is scripted and required to happen, if you want to progress the story. There's no way to stop it. Just get away from the aurora.
Your lifepod spawn location is different every time(it's always 5) but it's always far enough. You can watch it from outside your lifepod. Pretty cool.

Takeaways:
The building system has a complete rework in SN2, being the most advanced in the franchise thus far
Bases will now use procedural sculpturing or whatever (already knew that)
Bases now have a LOT more customization
Players should be able to paint their base, toggle lights on and off, etc in the future
Building tool redesign
Keep Calm poster is staying!!!!! (seen in the 3:34 mark)
Man can wait to mess with the base building system with my friends
Is this your first playthrough? I would recommend staying off of this Wiki to avoid spoilers.
If the Squidshark is a Leviathan then so is the Crabsquid
Funnily enough, the Crabsquid seems to be significantly larger than the Squidshark in terms of mass. Here, I scaled both human models to equal size to get the size comparison. Courtesy of RevxGaming.

NO FRICKING WAY... Basically, I found a Time Capsule randomly. He gave me a bulbous tree sample, and get this... A CUDDLEFISH EGG!? Anyways, I was so grateful... and I feel you. Thanks, Stefan. (The Cuddlefish egg is behind the PDA)
Peak way to go from 5 to 6 cuddlefish in your world (they are limited if you didn't know)
Went to the aurora
Died to the reaper but in all honesty, I was about to die to running out of oxygen 🫠
Yep, I always knew that, so let's goooooo!!!
Yeah before i even got the game i have this freind who told me everything. so yeah its fine.
Disclaimer: the game is still incredibly fun even tho i know stuff
@GraysonCarl ALWAYS check the tools you get in Time Capsules. Most people will put Ion Batteries in them.
What are u talking about?
Idk what u are saying but I'm glad u alive.
@ULB sans
Well even if it's larger (I thought it was the same size, the perspective is so fucked up) my point does still stand.
Yes, your point does indeed stand. The Crabsquid would be classified as a leviathan if the squidshark was too. I'm pretty sure that most people now interpret the Squidshark's entry as 'as strong as a leviathan', not 'is a leviathan'. I wish Unknown Worlds could update Below Zero and finally give us a clearer distinction by either removing that part of the entry or rewriting it to 'as strong as a leviathan' word for word.
I found this a long while back and I forgor what it gave me...

If you guys know the "creeper aww man" meme from munecraft. Whelp this has its song. I think it gave me a diamond.
And a mother thing! If you look deviously close to the background, it looks like spikes going to the side, like the Craig field. But they ain't no reapers there!
It took a while, but it was unusual and fun to do. When I launched, every text in the cutscene popped up 6 times, which was kinda silly. If you find a time capsule with a silly picture of a flying Reaper Leviathan and a message talking about how awesome the Switch 2 version of Subnautica is, that was me.

The reaper prob moved in after the aurora crashed for whatever reaper eason they had
So basically, my younger brother tried to tell me the thing that looks like an antenna on top of the Seamoth and Prawn Suit is a lever to open the hatch. That makes no sense at all. For one thing, it is much larger than necessary and would realistically open the hatch on accident whenever it bumps into anything too hard, which is incredibly inconvenient. On the Seamoth, its placement at a distance behind the hatch would not be convenient at all if you had to pull it every time you get in. Also, there are clearly handles on the Seamoth and Prawn Suit hatches for opening them. I tried looking at the pages for them, but I couldn’t find anything saying what these so-called “levers” actually are. Does anyone here have any confirmation on what they do?
this lever is actually an antenna that outputs the location data of the seamoth to the PDA
Thank you!! I hate crashfish soo much also
/necropostingiscoolnowig
That was the area that they were breeding and where the Sea Dragons were eating them.
I think that it doesn't have a handle to open it so it opens when ever Riley needs to get in or there is a button.
Know how Riley has to pay off a trillion credits? Well he could HEAVILY MODDIFY the rocket so it holds 2-4 seamoths all with 4 storage modules, then fill all of those with crash fish, and hold a prawn with one drill, and the rest are 1 depth module and 2 hull reinforcement. Then he would launch towards alterra head quarters and deploy the seamoth bombs on top of them. Then use the prawn to commit genocide in alterra. Fun little chaos I made up. 😋

Absolute chaos...
I'm kinda new to the game, so pls keep it spoiler-free, but what's so bad about eyeye?
No clue-never seen one-and also if you are new, stay off this wiki cause evry page has spoilers
I'm a new player, I'm just almost on the stage of the sunbeam landing, haven't been to the Aurora, so please don't include any spoilers past my level, and don't tell me where/how to do/find stuff, wanna figure it out myself. I found enough fragments and have all the materials to make a seamoth, but I don't know how to make it and place it down. Can someone help? Will I find the way to make one later in the game, or am I just missing something?
On the island where Sunbeam lands, there are little crab-like creatures that sometimes jump. They occasionally attack me, although don't seem to be actually agressive. Can you please just help me find their name? Just the name, I don't need any spoilers
Those are cave crawlers!
The mountain island isnt the only place where you'll find em btw
Do you have a mobile vehicle bay? you need to make that first before making a seamoth
The Grand reef (I didn't know there was a ghost near me 😭)
eyeye are just prey fish, nothing bad, i also dont like them. theyre ugly
They are in aroura too entrance , they are annoying though
If u made it u can just put in anywhere it wont budge from it unless some one tackes
Your mistake was saving.
Should've just quit. or atleast tried using your jump pack when you got stuck.
But you'd need to craft a new prawn as well as any arms attached to it.
Just incase it happens again, always save before exploring risky areas. by risky I mean anything that requires you to DESCEND ALOT or has reaper leviathans i.e dunes or aurora. the reapers can clip you through the ground if they grab you at the right time and angle since they can (for some reason) swim through the ground.
Thank you, guys! Now I can finally look them up!
No, I don't have a mobile vehicle bay, do I need one for making any vehicles? Thanks for the reply anyway
Yes, you need the mobile vehicle bay for the vehicles
Ok, thanks a lot

If you are at that stage of the game you must have found some mobile vehicle bay fragments. As of now I am on my first playthrough too. This game might confuse you regarding crafting because you can't craft everything in the fabricator (trying not to give any spoliers) You need the Mobile vehicle bay to craft the seamoth, after crafting it from the fabricator swim to the surface, have the mobile vehicle bay in your hotbar and then deploy it. You will see an option to climb it after deployment, then craft and enjoy your seamoth :)
Nah, I'm pretty sure those things are tiny demons.
Look in the kelp forest or wrecks in the kelp forest and safe shallows if you want to find the most fragments for the mobile vehicle bay. If you get stuck trying to find out how to build vehicle upgrades, I know a good place to find the vehicle upgrade console blueprints.
Thank you guys for help
Keep the MVB near your base, you will need to craft any other vehicles (hint hint)
Alright, found the dead link that cause people to keep makin the page. Hopefully this is the last time it has to be deleted.

Pretty sure checking the page should give you locations...
You should probably stay off the Wiki if you're a new player not wanting any spoilers.
You have to vote on Time Capsules to be put in the game...
Please take a screenshot instead of a picture of your screen.
Why did you take pictures of your screen instead of screenshotting it...?
@SansHorrorfell I know, I was just saying that in case one of mine got added.
In the grassy plateau that's the closest to the spawn, there's like a wreck or whatever that's called. My scanner room shows a ton of fragments there. First of all, could someone say some of the interesting fragments from there? Secondly, the door there is "locked", and it asks me to cut it open. I tried using the survival knife, but it just shows 0% and doesn't change. I might've just missed, but I didn't wanna stay there for a long time because I'm scared of sand sharks. SO my second question is, how to open that door?
Lol you actually thought a knife could cut through a titanium door?
No that's not how it works. You need a Laser Cutter, you should find pieces of that to scan inside the crates around Grassy Plateau. Since you have a Scanner Room already you can set it to search for pieces to help you find them if you are having trouble.
Bro I'm new to the game, what do you want from me😭 But thanks for the information
Yeah I knew that you must be new, but you have to be realistic. Even if the door was made of wood or plastic it would still be tough to cut through it with a knife, especially underwater as the pressure would greatly reduce the force of your strikes.
Don't take this to yourself, it's just that I found it hilarious that you did not even presume you were missing the correct tool.
It's a game after all, you never know what is realistic and what is not, but yeah, I guess that sounded funny
I found this video bout nick digiovanni and he was served CUTTLEFISH PASTA so iguess we can put them to use as food instead of energy....

Actually this youtuber said that a HEAT KNIFE can cut faster than a laser cutter but it takes many steps to get while laser cutter is a few. And yeah...
I'm pretty sure the grand reef has some, or the lost river. But go there with a prawn
I doubt it since there's still ones from like 2018 pending on there
Xbox literally has an app for you to download captures
Idk where you even find the vote stuff.
@Fanoman67 The Thermoblade? It can't cut open doors, that youtuber needs to have their head examined. It can cook fish and does more damage, but nothing more.
I meant do you think it should’ve been higher or lower
@Fanoman67 Did and it doesn't work. Plus why didn't you try it yourself?
Even if your youtube info is legit it could have been a mod, ever thought of that?
There is literally nothing in this game that a little kid shouldn't see.
Yeah, but for little kids it could be kinda scary in some parts. Don't really know how the scale works tho, so maybe it doesn't count

Let the kids and baby's deal with the ghosts and reapers
BTW what does AO mean?
added trivia about camera drones being functional inside of the seabase if piloted in through a moon pool.
Visual edit
If you have any tiger plants in there, that's the likely culprit. Happened to me once :/
If not, then I'm not sure. Maybe the Gasopods, like someone else said?
Well, it turns out all of the FNAF games are T because of "Fantasy Violence". Which Subnautica also has. And yet Subnautica is listed as E10+. Subnautica also has Mild Language. ...And yet it gets a lower rating than the game with only Fantasy Violence. Either there's something I'm not getting here or ratings are complete bullshit.
I GOT A SEABASE AND A SEAMOTH!!!!
Seabase has scanner room fully upgraded
Also has multipurpose room with Fabricator and Med Fab and a radio
SO HAPPY
I still dont understand what "AO" stands for... there was no explanation on what i said..
My friend who has beaten Subnautica told me that it's not too dangerous to got to the front of the Aurora, the back is what he said is dangerous. I assumed the front would be the thinner part that's in the Bulb Zone. However, I looked at Bulb Zone on the wiki page and it said that a Reaper spawns at the Southern part of the Bulb Zone. I honestly don't wanna meet any Reapers. Did I misunderstand him and is the front actually the part that's closer to the spawn, or did I misunderstand something else?
The front has less reapers but if you stick to the side of the already exploded aurora then you can by pass it. They dont usually come towards the inside.
So the part that's on the North is safer? Like the one in the Bulb Zone?
I'm struggling to kill a Bladder fish and y'all are doing that😭
Its in the safe shallows, right next to a kelp forest cause im thinking of adding a bio reactor
content before blanking was: "Fauna={{Fauna|title1 = Peeper|image1 = Peeper_Fauna.png|category = Herbivores|tab = Fauna|attitude = Passive|health = * 20|biome = * Bulb Zone * Crash Zone * Crash Zone Mesas * Dunes * Deep Sparse Reef * Grand Reef * Kelp Forest * Safe Shallows * Sparse Reef * Mountains * Northeastern Mushroom Forest * Northeastern Mushroom Forest Caves * ..."
Added in further detail about Void Chelicerates.

Dude just grab you don't need to kill it
I was swimming out of my moonpool, and just as I accelerated I accidentally turned my mouse and hit one of the moonpool's legs, breaking my first seamoth. It also had my sonar that I found in a time capsule (I don't have any magnetite nor a Prawn Suit to collect some). RIP.
Added another way to use the advanced teleportation strategy.
Visual edit
Added a way to recharge the Ion Cube's without needing to use console commands.
Visual edit
YEAH your friend is right. theres only a singular reaper near the front compared to the 3-4 near the back of the ship.
Ok, thanks, gonna try to figure out how to get past him without him noticing
I've never beaten the game, so I might not know some lore, but why does Ryley never have to sleep? No solar panels work at night, so if there was an early-game function to skip night somehow by sleeping, it would make sense in the lore and would be less annoying, because you wouldn't have to wait until your scanner rooms worked again. Once again, maybe there is some explanation in the lore though, so let me know if there's something
Allow me to introduce you to: Beds.
@Dinamikis Start in the middle of the side of the ship and hug the wall while approaching the front of the ship. You will find an easy opening into the ship before you encounter the Reaper Leviathan.
Ok, but I meant early-game. Beds' fragments are hard to get, they are in Bulb Zone, Aurora, Mountains, and Grand Reef. Those are some of the most unwelcoming biomes early game, so you won't get them. Later on, you can of course you thermal plants, nuclear or bio reactors, but the game doesn't force you to sleep and it's not even easy to do so
I used the "fog" console command for a few seconds just to see how that will look, and then I read on wiki that using commands will disable achievements. Firstly, is that even true, and secondly, if it is, is there a way to change the world's files to get achievements back on? Thanks
I might be slightly late, but for me the Sparse Reef is the chillest, it has no enemies but Tiger Plants and Bleeders. I'm just starting the game tbh, I've never beaten it, but the Grand Reef is honestly terrifying. Just the fact that there are 2 Ghost Leviathans always unsettles me, just that black with a chance of meeting that thing is just the tiebreaker for me. I haven't been to the Lost River, Sea Treader's path, and a few other biomes, so I don't know about those
Did you save after using Console Commands? If not, quit the game and load your last save for that file to get achievements.
Jellyshroom Caves have a bed from the Degasi right? Floating Island should also have beds I'm pretty sure.
Sammy and Steve are the only two that could actually pose a threat if you go to the front.
Silver ore large deposit does not appear in Jellyshroom Caves.

Forgot to add the fact that it's practically impossible to find such large silver deposit (didn't find it there on my save)

Oh yeah, forgot about Degasi tbh))) but still, the game tries so hard to be semi-realistic but sleeping is not even forced
Soooo I was going into the lava zone so I could cure the disease but umm... A warper teleported me out of my prawn suit when I was going down into the Lost River by the Blood Kelp zone and I went to get my prawn suit but It sank through the ground. I don't want to use cheats or nothing since it will disable achievements. Your probably thinking, Just make another one, right? Well my prawn suit had like 10 Ion cubes and every tablet. What do I do 😭
The only choice to my knowledge would be new game.
Floating Island as well as Jellyshroom Caves are pretty easy to access, the only real threats are the tight spaces of the Jellyshroom Caves (oxygen is small early game), the Crabsnakes, and the depth (unless you have rebreather, less oxygen efficiency; and the Seamoth wouldn't work as well unless you have Depth Module Mark 1).
Floating Island has Cave Crawlers and is pretty far away from the Safe Shallows. Not really that dangerous compared to the other options.
You sure you don't wanna use cheats? I just had the achievements problem myself, but there's a mod that turns them back on. Can't think of anything better anyway
Nvm, I just found a mod that turns achievements back on
There is no bed fragments in the floating island base.
I have a moon pool now, a prop. cannon and mk1 depth for sea moth.
Happy again!
Also about to repair the Aroura's drive core

Idk then, sorry. This bug is on wiki, but it doesn't suggest any solutions, so I'm guessing if you can't use cheats or mods, you won't be able to retrieve it. I'll let you know if I find a solution tho

I established a base in Crystal Caves, and living there is truly great, even with the presence of the Leviathans.
I built two bases, my main one and a very small one that serves as the scanner.
• I built both bases with the scanner because the biome is really large; I need two scanners to move around safely and to search for the various ores found in the biome. One scanner is for searching for ores, and the other is for safety, as it marks the two Shadow Leviathans that surround the biome, allowing me to cross safely. In addition, I can get incredible views of one of the Leviathans swimming in the northern part of my base, as you can see in the image above.
I chose the Crystal Caves because it's a very beautiful place with a great atmosphere, and it's also great for mining ores. The only problem is the Shadow Leviathans that surround the biome.
If you ask me why I don't try to kill the Leviathans to make the biome 100% safe, I like a bit of a challenge, and it also makes the biome much more alive with their presence. I don't have as many problems with them thanks to one of the Scanner Rooms that can mark them so I can go to the other side. I actually get a lot of ores in the biome because of the Crystal Rift, which has many raw ores that can only be mined with the Prawn Suit. I also regularly switch my prawn arm for safety, using the toperdo to traverse the biome and then the drill arm to mine the ores. I use the grappling hook for extra mobility and to be more evasive when dealing with the two Leviathans.
I wanna build a scanner room in the Jellyshroom forest, but 2 sand sharks snuck in there. They aren't a huge problem, but when I try to install something deeper, they attack me, forcing me to use a med kit. Can anyone either suggest a place to quickly find a stasis rifle fragment (I scanned the one in the Safe Shallows) or to get the sand sharks out of there quickly without a stasis rifle
Never played BZ, but that actually looks beautiful
All the advanced players, I was wondering what energy source y'all use? Because all of them seem to have major downsides. I know there's like nuclear energy tho, idk anything about that, so could someone let me know?
@SansHorrorfell they have names? Are those like official or did the fans make them up?
I use solar since my only base is in the Safe Shallows.
Seamoth Perimeter Defense should fix that.
I was just wondering what might could be the equivalent as well as what Flora would produce it.
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/6bba402b-3b57-444f-a5dc-3d1148624104
Inspired by the Scaredyshroom and the Peashooter, it would mostly be equivalent to a Peashooter.
The nuclear reactor is my go-to. I use two solar panels until I get the resources and blueprints for the nuclear reactor. One reactor with all four rods is way more than enough to last until the end of a normal game.
Sand sharks can only attack you easily if you are standing still. As long as you keep moving around a bit, you shouldn’t even have to get rid of them. If you still do want to get the sand sharks out of the way, the repulsion cannon is another great option as long as you have the blueprints and the modification station. The blueprints for the repulsion cannon can only be found in certain data boxes and data terminals, but there are multiple places to find these.
One time I zapped the first shadow to death and trapped the second in a cage. It ruined the crystal caves. I don’t think I ever wanna do it again. Killing leviathans just feels like it makes biomes pointless (except for sea dragons, they can die).
Its ok bro we al go diff. speeds. also my aroura is glitched there is absoulutely no bleeders which makes it easy
Fandom broke the file, so restoring from an older version.

Nvm guys, thanks for help, but I just killed them off with my thermoblade
That's so cool. I could never have the courage to do that. Is it hard to get to the surface and back?
I always go to the Mushroom forests to get the modification station. They're (mostly) safe.
Changing all Bureaucrats back to Purple, but leaving Dottedfish as green.
I always look a place near a volcanic vent, thermal reactor despite slower than nuclear but its the best and you dont have to build anything other than the thermal reactor it self or feed anything to it.
This is great you should really do more subnautica plants as PVZ plants
It's funny to see (Redirect) everywhere on pages and whatnot, but lets restrict them to Special pages only.
@VanGaudinho I would say that thermal power is definitely the next best option. The power/price ratio with nuclear and thermal is enough that bioreactors and solar power can become redundant in the mid-late game. I used to use thermal before I memorized where to get nuclear reactor fragments. I still do use thermal sometimes, and I am probably gonna build thermal plants soon in my current BZ game.
What is the downside to bioreactors? They are easy to make and feed them using an exterior growbed.

@Victor Drunkenstein There isn't necessarily a downside as far as I can tell, it's just that it doesn't have the same upside that all the other power sources have. Bioreactors are the only ones that require very much management. If you can get past that, they're miles better than solar with the correct sustainable fuel. I personally do not prefer to use the bioreactor, but it certainly is a good choice. In reality, Subnautica has the most well-balanced power generation system in any game I have ever played. Every power source is great in its own way.
I DIED IN THE JELLYSHROOM CAVE AND LEFT MY SEAMOTH IN THERE HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP
I had storage upgrade, perimeter defense, and mk1 depth i need help
@Camo4546 What upside? Solar panels and Thermal plant are endless but you can't just use them anywhere you like. If you build a base far from either natural source it will take a lot of power transmiters to get your base working.
When farming materials I use a technique where I build a temporary base which only has a multipurpose room and a scanner room in the area I wish to farm. And I build a bioreactor to power it. Then I place a growbed nearby and plant a Gel Sack in it. I knife it twice to get 2 seeds, plant them, then throw the sack in the reactor. By the time it's used up 2 more are grown then I just double the yield until both the reactor and growbed are full. Then when I'm done I just deconstruct it and move it to the next area I intend to farm.
You think I could do this with other power sources? With a nuclear reactor perhaps but I would waste the rods that way when deconstructing. Gel sacks, however, I couldn't care less as I just regrow the plantation from a single one each time.
And they also have the benefit that I can eat them in case of emergency.
@Victor Drunkenstein I hadn't considered a scenario like that. Temporary bases for harvesting honestly sounds like a great idea and I should try it sometime. As for the power transmitter issue, they actually have more range than you'd think. They wouldn't be efficient for temporary bases, but you could connect all your permanent bases to the same power network running on something more long-term. As I already said, all the power sources are very balanced in Subnautica and they all have their own advantages.
Well, the best solution I can think of is crafting a new one, finding the old one, taking the upgrades (just in case), and then slowly driving both out of there. Or take a rebreather and a few oxygen tanks (or bladderfish). Depending on where it is, that might be enough
@Victor Drunkenstein Yeah, I also like to do that with resources where 2-3 visits isn't enough. Over the last day I finally unlocked the multipurpose room, and I found that strategy from like a Youtube Short lol. Bioreactor is also awesome for my base in the Jellyshroom, because Oculus gives insane energy
Ok...
Its near the Degisi SeaBase, i was exploring when i died.
(don't ask...)
Bladderfish might be enough

Mmhmm yes, ok...

Are there any deep shrooms in the **Southern **Blood Kelp Zone? My seamoth has MK1 module, so I can't really go anywhere below 350m (300m for the seamoth and 50 more with the rebreather). Can anyone tell me if there are deep shrooms in the Southern one at all, or only the Northern one? The wiki also says there are some in the ST's path, but I couldn't find any. Can anyone help?
By the "Southern" Blood Kelp Zone I meant the Blood Kelp Trench btw
Why is this actually good (don't ask me why I commented 5 years later)
Yeah it has!
Ok, thanks, I'll keep searching then

5 Reasons why The Stasis Rifle is the best:
1. The reason why you are still alive
2. The reason why all those leviathans are dead
3. It affects everything but you and your stuff
4. Easily obtainable fragments from any Degasi seabase
5. The Alterra Stasis Rifle: Life's fast. Why not put it on pause?
There is one forest directly east of your lifepod, near the side of Aurora's bow, and one north-northwest. Both have lots of fragments, but the north one is a bit bigger. You have to pay attention and not go too far, though, because there are dangerous biomes adjacent to them.

@SpiderMonke Is that a reference to Halo Infinite?
Probably could’ve just merged Switch/Switch2 into one option. The Switch 2 versions of the games are outstanding, btw.

Anyways it will be lilypad i guess
Yeah my bad
I don't really do many polls just posts
Lilypad would function like the Lilypad plant from PvZ in the pool levels, plant it on water and it lets you plant land flora on top.
Oh ok thats a real good Idea
@SpiderMonke Cool. I almost won that game with my brother, but we haven't bothered to finish it for a while because he's already done that before.
There’s actually a lot of mobile players. It’s probably a great way to try out the game since it’s cheaper and doesn’t require fancy hardware.
Lol most play on PC and no one plays on mobile - who would have guessed.
@Victor Drunkenstein Really it just depends on the environment of the poll. On the official Subnautica Reddit, there's actually a lot of mobile players. Those mobile plyers just aren't on the Subnautica Wiki.
Hey camo congrats to being the only switch 2 player!

It also doesn’t help that there are basically multiple instructions for most assignments and they all say to do different things. On the wiki page for Lava Lizard it says that the Lava Lizard and the Stalker are the only fauna with no bioluminescence. However, I don't recall Reaper Leviathans to have any bioluminescence either, those things are invisible in the dark like they're created specifically for that. Am I forgetting something?
Their bioluminescence is too faint to see in the dark due to the foggy water distance effects so it would seem. The page does indeed show dim bioluminescence on Reaper Leviathans, likely captured without water effects through console commands.

Where's the entrance to the lost river from the Sparse Reef?
I read somewhere that there is one there
I found the alien cave ion cube thingy in the sparse reef, if that helps

Go into the blood kelp trench and keep going down. When you start seeing that green acid stuff pooled up on the ground, you'll know you reached the entrance. Also keep an eye out for nuclear reactor fragments nearby if you don't already have those blueprints.
So I just had to repair my base. I repaired all the holes and the computer said the drainage system activated... but the water's still there, and is not coming down. There's literally no breach, so I don't understand what's happening. I looked online and I saw others having the same problem, but no solution for my case.

I should 3D print Subnautica things using my school's 3D printer, but it can't print that big and we can't print weapons (e.g. a thermoblade).
What would provide higher DPS on a prawn suit: the drill arm or the basic claw arm? I'm talking about damage to like a ghost leviathan or something similar. Because I've seen a lot of people use the drill arm for that, but I can't really understand why, the wiki says the claw arm deals 50 DPS while the drill arm deals "just" 30
I think just using both claw arms would be most effective
Just spam the guy with left, right, left, right and so on
Go back to your last save?
Save, quit, retry?
Probably build a new base...
The issue was in the Scanner Room. It has a breach, it was not connected properly, so I couldn't get in and see it.
Ok, but what if I also need the grappling arm?
Buddy, if you wanna kill a leviathan, there's no easier way than with a stasis rifle and thermoblade. (If it's a sea dragon, thermoblade won't work. You'll need a regular knife.)
Ok, sorry, forgot to specify. I'm not actually killing a Ghost Leviathan, obviously it takes like 5 hours with the prawn. I just brought that guy up as an example, because a drill arm is obviously more effective for killing small passive fish in high amounts, because it's much easier to hit. I know I can sometimes give confusing examples, but what I really meant is what's better for single-target attacking, not judging the overall benefits like range
One claw arm i managed to kill a peeper from real far away
Bcuz u said u need grapple arm

@TurquoiseGaming 333 THIS POST IS MORE THAN A YEAR OLD GET OUT
I tried the Blood Kelp Trench, but the Warpers keep warping me out of my Prawn Suit, so I definitely want to choose another one. Which one do you all use? Will the Warpers always be there or is there a way to not meet them?
I built a nuclear power plant with 4 reactors in the vent gardens biome because there's a bunch of reactor rod resources there. I tried to connect it to my main base via power transmitters only to find out that they cannot link bases' internal power sources.
A similar thing has happened to me. Also, I once tried to parkour off a transmitter with my Prawn Suit, just to later find out that landing on them literally breaks them. I once spent like 30 minutes trying to install one to transfer the energy from a thermal reactor just to get a bioreactor in the end. I had so many "incidents" with power transmitters (in the base game) I just stopped using them at some point. I haven't even entered the Lost River yet, so I haven't even played that much Subnautica, but I'm already traumatised by the experience with power transmitters, I feel like they just don't like me personally
I'm pretty sure every way to the List River has Warpers. I use the Deep Grand Reef to enter it though and have never been warped out of my PRAWN when going to the Lost River.
I don't think the Sparse Reef has an entrance to the Lost River. Maybe it does, but I never found one.
Ok, thanks, I was just going to explore it
I think power transmitters don't like people in general.
@SansHorrorfell There isn't one directly in the Sparse Reef, but the Sparse Reef does lead to the Blood Kelp Trench which has an entrance.

Judging by their appearance, osteodermic leviathan (named after the fact it has osteoderms) would be a good name
Leviathans usually have simple names (at least in the base game), like the Reaper, the Ghost, the Sea Dragon, etc. I think this one would also have a simple but meaningful name, like a Crusher Leviathan or something. It would be about the size of a Sea Dragon (112m), maybe slightly smaller (~100m). I don't think it would make a lot of sense to put it in a real biome, as it's too big for a "tight-space" biome and basically all open biomes have Leviathans already. My best bet out of real biomes is the eastern edge of the Bulb Zone, because while the Bulb Zone technically has a Reaper, let's be honest, that Reaper is basically in the Crash Zone, and Bulb Zone is the only "unoccupied" open biome I can think of
Ik it has nothing to do with the Bulb Zone itself, but I explained my logic, I don't think anything else works. He'd probably recieve a new biome tbh
I have killed no Ghosts and I have never had any issues, my second trip Casper got stuck so I literally never had to deal with him. I guess you can kill them all but I wouldn't really recommend it.
I SAW IT NOW I THOUGHT IT WOULD SHOW ME RECENT POSTS
I feel like this fella is too big to fit in a good spot on the current map. Seeing something like this in Subnautica 2 would be so cool tho

Yeah, but where _is _the Deep Grand Reef entrance?
The entrance to the Deep Grand Reef or the entrance to the Lost River in the Deep Grand Reef?
Idk, I made a few assumptions and calculations that showed the monster at about 300m. I roughly estimated the part of the tail that's not visible and didn't even account for the monster not showing his full length, his body isn't straight. I'm also not sure what ship that is, but I assumed it to be a Spanish galleon (those are ~48m on average), as it has an enlongated bow and overall a similar structure, but if there are any ship experts, correct me pls. Is it correct? Definitely not. Why did I do this? No idea. But it looks interesting
I know I'm late to discussion but has anyone consider that maybe she did get infected but the carar was dormant? It is a known medical condition afterall. Someone got infected >> no symptoms/illness >> live fine, but could spread infection.
Or maybe she didn't get infected in the first place? (I am unsure if she developed the symptoms, the log say it collectively, but Maida seem well enough to hunt a reaper.. so...)
I also think these are the case of MOST fishies in subnautica. Otherwise nothing in the planet would live past a month unless it ate a lot of peepers, which obviously does not live in every biomes.
PS. Still pretty new to the fandom, this is just my speculation plus handwave at the "Maida eats a lotta peepers" that was said
Try it with a cyclops its hilarious
Cyclops breaks leviathan's attack pathfinding (tested: reaper, ghost, ghost juv) and it just becomes a headbutt contest because they are only rarely able to bite for some reason
P.s. cyclops wins automatically because submarine glass is harder than reaper skull :)))
Yeah, I get it, killing leviathans kinda makes biomes boring, but I'm so emotionally attached to my Cyclops at this point I'm not willing to risk whatsoever. Yeah, Ghosts retreat after 1 hit and I have time to drop back, but still
@SansHorrorfell I might be slightly late but I was joking
Hold down the left bumper, fight bumper, and pause button at the same time and you should have the Console pop up.
Nevermind that's the instructions for consoles
I don't know how to do it on mobile
@TheVoidCrow according to my calculations, yes, but as I said, I could've gotten a lot of things wrong

By my theory, here's a Sea Dragon on the scale lol. I'm definitely off by like a kilometer

Am I the only one who found the fact that the page for the grappling arm links the BKZ to "challenging evironments" kinda funny? Maybe it's just me, but I liked how the editors just know where we are (or at least I am) struggling🤣

^^entrance to the Lost River in the Deep Grand Reef
I have been to the degisi seabase in the deep grand reef so ik how to get to the deep grand reef
The Degasi Seabase is really close to the Lost River entrance.
It's not just the blood kelp trench its actually the deep grand reef right behind the g e and reef degasi base. The entrance is in the sparse reef biome for some reason.
I genuinely don't know what to do
Got max depth for seamoth
Got the prawn suit, cyclops, and after i've gotten lifepod 2 i just don't know what to do next
So any help?
Hey. Do you have to coordinates for Yu's life pod yet? The endgame cave is near there.
You need to find a way into the lost river, where you can get the last resources you need for certain upgrades, that is nickel and crystalline sulfur, and an entrance to the inactive lava zone where you can get kyanite
Mind lost river is like between 500m and 1000m deep so you ideally want cyclops depth 2 and prawn depth 1 to explore it fully, also prawn grapple to get around and prawn drill to mine large resource deposits (kyanite is almost exclusively large resource deposits), and get the prawn jet upgrade when you have the nickel and sulfur for it
And dont take the seamoth down there, it not only doesn't have the depth cap to get everywhere but it's also far too fragile, enemies there can kill it easily + it doesn't protect you from damage in the acid pools unlike prawn and cyclops (cyclops doesnt fit in the acid pools anyway but yes)
I realized that the sea treader's path and grand reef both look like a chicken.
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/e4ca20b9-11cf-4dba-851b-085ddb60b949
The sparse reef also look like a jockey.

In Safe Shallows, I had two solar panels until I got to Jellyshroom Caves, where I placed a Thermal Plant on a 100°C geyser and used Power Transmitters to hook it into my base. While in Jellyshroom, I grabbed two Oculus fish and placed them in an Alien Containment to multiply.
My second base was in The Lost River at the entrance to ILZ (~910m down). To start that base, I grabbed materials for two multipurpose rooms, a bioreactor, an alien containment, and two hatches. Plus, 3 Oculus from my main base. Slapped the buildings down, placed the bioreactor and put 1 Oculus in for initial energy, then placed the alien containment and put the 2 remaining Oculus in. They multiply far faster than they can be used.
Bioreactors are slow in energy generation, so as my base grew, I transitioned to nuclear power. The game gives you SO MUCH uranite, and you only need so little to power a base indefinitely and quickly.
I am at the same point as you, and i found that the endgame cave is great to advance in the story
@Kiro Bot So it just...dropped dead? Or tried to move and its heart stopped? (I'm not trying to come off like a jerk, I'm legit curious)
There is an entrance in the blood kelp trench too. They both exist. The trench entrance is closer, but I always take the deep grand reef one because it's near my home and I like stopping by the Degasi base for blueprints.
> Try it with a cyclops its hilarious

@Dinamikis The images didn't load.
I WAS IN THE DEEP GRAND REEF LOOKING FOR THE LOST RIVER ENTRANCE, AND I NOT ONLY FOUND THE ENTRANCE BUT ALSO A CUDDLEFISH EGG IN THE DEGASI SEABASE! I purposely didn't check the wiki to find the locations of the cuddlefish eggs myself and I finally got one! What should I name it? I don't want a boring name
I cant stop by the degasi base cuz there are 4 warpers around it at all times
Good job I can not go into that base yet due to the 4 warpers that live RIGHT NEXT TO IT
Wheatley is a cool name, that's the favourite so far. Sorry SpiderMonke, but Gerald is slightly boring. Any other suggestions?
Idk, the only things around the base for me were 2 Crabsquids, and those are like the easiest entites to kill. Can they even like attack you, cause the only thing they did to me so far was attack my Cyclops and EMP a few times
Last time I found a laser cutter fragments was behind a door thet needs a laser cutter bro they messed up real bad
Im part of it and I downloaded Subnautica of friday
Yo I finally found texts not from 4 years lets go BTW I just started Subnatica and now I fully expolored and fixed the aurora now should I do
Created page with "yo is started Subnautica and now I finished explored the aurora and fixed it now what should I do next"

Why did the comments stop, let's keep it going!
I do it without shield works just fine as well
At worst I have like 3-4 leaks afterward
So I was playing with my friend today (using Nitrox) and I found a ghost ray on the border of Grassy Plateaus and the Northeastern Mushroom Forest. And no, I didn't make a mistake, not a Jellyray, a Ghostray! I couldn't just confuse the 2 because 1. I can clearly tell the difference and 2. my scanner confirmed that that was, in fact, a ghost ray. And then, 30 seconds later, I saw an Oculus in the Safe Shallows nearby! I have a few screenshots, but he has the server, so I can't upload them rn, I'll maybe add them later. Can someone tell me if you have encountered that bug before in vanilla or maybe that's just a Nitrox thing
I've had Oculuses swim up into the Grassy Plateaus/Safe Shallows, but I've never seen a Ghost Ray come up into the Mushroom Forest. Or any other surface biome, for that matter. It's definitely possible that it has nothing to do with Nitrox, but who knows?
I suspect it has something to do with terrain loading, as when the terrian unloads, no barrier is present to prevent a Ghostray to come up into the surface. But that isn't really possible since the game should also unload fauna. Quite a baffling mystery.
What Mushroom Forest were you in?
That needs to be added to subnautica
Oh, yeah, I can relate to that. Like take the crabsnake, the crabsquid, and the cave crawler, and try to guess which one is NOT named after a crab lol
Speaking of them, I went into the LR via the Northern BKZ and the ghost leviathan attacked me so i left and i swear i still hear ghost screams from my base in the safe shallows.
I think he followed me home 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
I hate ghosts
Cause of him i cant get the prawn jump jet upgrade
The blood crawler isn't named after a crab but none of those have anything to do with a crab whatsoever
You want me to fight the chicken... CHICKEN JOCKEY!!!!!!
It would be so cool if like there was a giant RBL (reefback Leviathan) that was posing as an island because it's asleep and at random times it would just go underwater and then just move to a different place kind of like those giant whales from the legends
Ik its in the LR but i cant find any and also so many ghost leviathans kill me over and over.
Safe place to find nickel?
I just started my 3rd playthrough of BZ and this time i want to build a base above water. What's the best biome to build one? I was thinking maybe Delta Island?
Lilypad Islands, very flat, very centric, lots of space to expand
Hi thanks, Yes I have been studying for 6 years in Latvia and now back in Norway and have some time to playtest. The wiki team here had some issues and that's why I haven't been active or have my admin title so the motivation for wiki was killed by the issue. However, Subnautica 2 is in the works and times are blooming now as Charlie is back in office at Unknown Worlds, so there is hope to get involved yet another time. Maybe not here but for in-game development.
Pretty sure Lost River is the "shallowest" place that has Nickel, I am set for life with the Large Deposits, try to find those in the brine. I think there's also some Nickel in the ILZ, but the entrance there is in the Lost River, so that kinda kills the purpose. I'd say just use the Deep Grand Reef entrance and look in the Ghost Canyon and Corridor (not to be confused with Ghost Forest and Mountains Corridor lol)
I used to share the same problem, but although I generally don't kill Leviathans to not make the game boring, I just crashed out and killed the Ghost in the Bones Field
Yeah but ig the cave crawler at least looks somewhat similar to a crab, but it is the one to not be named after a crab
The spy pengling will not grab it
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/9b830cd8-b44f-4f5a-89fd-7238e597a67a
If you know you know
(Pov you destroyed you sea moth 3 times due to the cyclops running into it.)(i did this to my self)
Idk I havent played in like a year
Then why reply?
ITS NOT JUST A THEORY. ITS A GAME THEORY!!
Ps. Wouldn't they have the large mandibles?
Did you try using the cross hairs to aim at it then click or press the buton
I mean, I get it, it's a theory, but their body structure is like completely different? No hate, but they basically look nothing alike
Look at them!:
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/7dd5f1c2-9138-436b-8d82-f93c983728d5
I see some similarity but they are mostly different. Pda would stare if so
Ok, I take it back, they are slightly similar, but their eyes are way too different imo and Reapers canonically use echolocation while there's no evidence of Biters doing the same. By the way, @Fanoman67 , you are back! Haven't seen you in a while
Are you sure your penglin doesn't have a full inventory?
Yeah it’s empty I just got it out to grab the antidote
Well then I have no idea why it can't grab the antidote, I mean you are suppose to retrieve it using it.
Nah bro, I actually kinda see it, but there are a lot of differences. My theories are so bad if I posted them I would just immideatly get banned, this one isn't that bad
Maybe there were some other alien race that visited here before the precursors and experimented on it causing it to well die Don't know why the aforementioned alien race would disappear though
Maybe the Lost River was a lot bigger before the eruption of the volcano where the game takes place and cooled magma covered up some of the entrances making the remain entrances very small
Call me a noob, but did some testing in creative and I still can't figure out how to get past the Sea Dragons. I don't wanna risk my Cyclops if there's a way not to, so pls just tell me if there's a way to get to the Thermal Plant without having to face the Sea Dragons or if I should just start preparing
Or maybe it died from that poisonous sludge in the Lost River
As long as it gives us some sort of information about what the Leviathan really was or how it died if they told us that in below zero they should totally add it
That should definitely be added like look at that thing Plus we finally have an idea of what the garg actually looks like
I don't know if this is just me but it wouldn't let me build anything in the bone fields or anywhere else in the Lost River
Go check out my other game theories My next one is going to be on the rock puncher in below zero and I've posted a few on the gargantuan Leviathan skeleton
What if the rock grubs in normal subnautica are some sort of baby rock punchers that somehow ended up in the crater and because of the climate there they can't grow into adult rock punchers but that's just a theory a game theory!
@Woobywoo have you considered the fact that animals do just die
Ok thx i was actully about to try the deep grand reef bcuz ive been using the nbkz and that ghost leviathan there hates me.
What's the current most replied btw? Does anyone know?
Park your Cyclops away from the dragons, then take your prawn suit into the lava castle
I just built the hull reinforcement for my prawn thinking it would protect against ghost leviathans spicifically, bcuz it does say protects from collision damage.
I just read that it only protects from terrain damage.
Is the wiki page right?
Where is "away from the dragons"? Like on the border of the ILZ Corridor and Chamber kind of far away, or just slightly away? I use the Tree Cove entrance btw
Unfortunately, yes, it is. Do you just not kill Leviathans to keep the game interesting? If so, enter from the Grand Reef and search inside the brine in your prawn, there's plenty of nickel there if you're still searching for it. If not, just kill it with a stasis rifle and a thermoblade, doesn't take that long
Not long actually, I was on about full oxygen (225) when I started killing it, and ended up on ~30 when I finished, so it took about 3 minutes of slashing him with a thermoblade (following your posts, I'm sure you have it at this point)
I took my Cyclops along the left wall past the chamber and found a little cave area big enough to fit it along the wall kind of far away from the dragons but close enough that I could hear them
Yeah i have a reaper almost dead in my save, i just left cause i needed more health packs
Yes and I built a cyclops and named it after daquavious just like socksfor1 then a lighting bolt of boredom struck me then I cured my boredom and played now I got some magnite and IDK what 2 do with them
I cant cuz I'm on my school laptop and the game is on the ps4
BTW the theory in cool
How about you call it a " turtel back liviathan " or " Voidridge Livathan " which should be long in the void ( crater edge ) in subnautica 2
How about " **Eurekais " like Eureka!!! I found it **
Yeah I took 10 hours!!!! just to build a cyclops at the end a reaper kills me and now my prawn suit recorces are gone
But I still have the cyclops BTW I crashed onto a boneshark now his brother is chasing me
This will sound dum but save your game uninstall and reinstall your progress should obviously be saved and it'll completely reset the game but I haven't played enough bz
I personally think they should lower the danger level of these chill boi's in the PDA cause I was just chilling next to one for 20 minutes straight and he didn't do anything and I love em lil bro's
@Subnatica4546B
Something looks super wrong with that lighting on the Reaper.
@Echowings I think it's just something where you gotta look at it right to grab it. Try aiming slightly above it or around its sides and see if that works.
That would make rock punchers canibals. Also, you don't get a rock grub when you hatch a rock puncher egg in an alien containment. It just produces a tiny rock puncher.
Fr, they do like 3 damage and their agression level is negative
Ok, thanks, that actually worked

Hey spidermonke did u see my theory on my homepage??? anyways if I did share the word but give me credit
Hey guys first I never went 2 the lost river but I'm planning too anyways did u see my theory on my homepage

2. Sand shark ( cuz they move rapidly crazy )
3. Jellyrays
4. Peeper
5. Boneshark
BTW hey SpiderMonke can u teach me how to make post? pls
The river prowlers are weak but agressive they do about 3 damage so they safe but not for long
Hey guy I heard that the big blue tree in the LR is safest for nickel its about 900m deep is that true???

Yall I have a theory what if Gasopods are just the other Survivors that were Highly infected by the Kharaa Bacteria and now mutated into weird farting Bulbous toxic Creatures
I mean look
https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/4953376e-0625-418c-94b2-8e6f9aaf7565
Oh and if this theory was already made then Sry for copyrighting so don't get mad
"Sry for copyrighting" what????????
Theories aren't copyrighted??????????
We already know that all of the other people died to their low oxygen levels, the dangerous and large fauna, the Kharra, or the Aurora's explosion.
If this was the case wouldn't we only see 2 Gasopods in the entire game? One for that survivor of the Aurora who died to the Kharra and one for Bart Torgal?
What do you mean "how"? It looks weird from what I remember the Crash Zone looking like.
It looks like a frozen Chelicerate
"Fine, watch what happens when I cast a spell I don't know!" ahh Chelicerate
1. Hoverfish
2. Cuddlefish
3. Rabbitray
4. Crabsnake
5. Crabsquid
I like crabs if you couldn't tell
@SansHorrorfell Are you really taking this seriously or are you more bored than the OP?
@SansHorrorfell its bc its in the crash zone??? i think idk the biomes AT ALL but the water is ALWAYS merky.
What would me being bored have to do with anything?
So first when your on the post page tap on this lil guy
Yeah ur cool
Wtf and what if the stuff they release out they back that hurts you is them trying to get you to leave before it's too late
Creepy aholes stay away fro- oh shi!!! AHHHH GET AWAY!!!
If they were mutated from the Kharaa, then you'd think they'd have some sort of immunity to it. And yet, the Precursors did not investigate them for the antidote and they can in fact still become infected.
It's probably just more infected in the Kharra variant of this theory is somehow true
YES!!!! FINALLY SOMEONE RECOGNISED HOW CUTE CRABSNAKES ARE!
Mine is:
1. Crabsnake
2. Crabsnake
3. Crabsnake
4. Crabsnake
5. Cuddlefish
Good theory actually, but then why can they still be infected?
Thanks but IDK about the sry and stuff it just I'm new so that's it anyways do y'all want more theories???
Hey SansHorrorfell if survivors was not enough 2 convince u then maybe there was seal like creature's then they mutated into Gasopods Hpy now :)
To go there u have to go thru very scary biomes so im not going there
Idk why crabsnakes are so cute but when you have a baby in alien contanment its like AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH SOOOOOOOOCUTECUTECUTECUTECUTECUTE

Get into console commands, type in "sub cyclops" then enter, then repeat one more time, dont move anywhere else or it will fail. Then after the two cyclops' are stuck together, wait to see the interesting message from the devs!! (Developers)
(Becareful... I did it once...)
I need an entrance to the deep grand reef that can fit my cyclops.
Pic or place on map maybe?
Same like how they hug you after coming by their house. Then you notice the hug is too tight and leave.
Use the grand reef... its right there in the very front facing the void part of the deep grand reef. I made it through there once.
But if they were infected the warpers would come after them wouldn't they?
yes
no
yes but complete a challenge
no but complete a challenge
Cave crawlers as u play they get hella annoying like siblings

Its really nice I like the VIOLENCE

Amazing and true imma do it
If i fail a challenge then i dont change my usrname
Why is you post seven hours ago and seven hours ago was at 12 AM IN THE MORNING!!!
@Subnatica4546B This theory came as a result of overthinking, so it makes perfect sense to explore its validity through overthinking. Besides, @The Poisoned Water was hardly overthinking in this situation.
Put a drill arm on your Prawn Suit and pop that thing into your Cyclops. Go to the 500m Proposed Degasi Habitat beacon and proceed past it until you find a lost river entrance. The crab squids don't hurt your Cyclops much. When you enter the lost river, you will be in a very safe portion of the cave system. Get in your Prawn Suit and start searching for drillable nickel inside the acid lakes. You can also find some crystaline sulfur there.
So now with the next gen update/ the 2025 update it specifies this isn't a bug and instead adds two new mods to the Snowfox to decrease the spawn rate of the ice worm and decrease the chance to get knocked off
But the little baby ghost will come to eat you. Maybe...
Today is a pretty big day! After a long 152 in-game days or almost 2 real-life days of the most hilarious, intense, inefficient and straight-up terrible (in terms of my skill) moments of playing Subnautica, from not being able to deal with Sand Sharks and not being able to place down a Seamoth to this, I beat Subnautica by curing Kharaa and building the Neptune. My final achievements:
"Big Bro" the Cyclops
":)" the Seamoth (RIP)
"Lil Bro" the Seamoth
"Twin" the Prawn Suit
"Wheatley" the Cuddlefish (credit to @SansHorrorfell for the name)
An unnamed Cuddlefish (Just to credit @SpiderMonke , a fellow Crabsnakes fan, I will name it Pheonix)
"The Boss" the Neptune Rocket
A base in the Safe Shallows (lol) and the Lost River Bones Field
I had to sacrifice a Reaper, 2 Ghosts (1 of them being a Juvenile), and a lot of other, less significant creatures. I haven't launched the Rocket yet, because, as far as I'm concerned, that will completely end the game. Tell me a few fun things to do before that (
that won't take another 150 days please, just something fun).
Maybe this is a slightly dramatic speech, as I'm not even leaving the fandom yet, but I liked the save so much I just had to do something like this
Next, I want to try BZ, so if you played that already, please tell me a few light advices for the very beginning of the game, I would appreciate that
I can make you a fun challenge if you want, if you just rate how hard you want it to be 1-5. Or do you want to come up with a challenge yourself
Fight a reaper with a prawn suits bare arms on survival mode, you can use commands to give you the prawn and repair tool. Don't use commands to get batteries tho! I did this my self, beat a reaper.
@SansHorrorfell I mean, I can't just quit Subnautica completely by now, can I?
Take some (or all) creature eggs and put them in to the rocket.
Have yall heard that krafton has been kicked and the devs has come back. I may be a bit late but ye
He does kind of look like spaghetti with sauce on him
Bro, greet job!
You need to have a reaper trapped by a habitat builder before you leave
Tame a puppy dog
