1. Be kind and keep things polite. Trolling is not allowed. Avoid controversial and sensitive topics, like religion and politics. Harassment, sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. This is also a platform neutral server and platform bashing is not acceptable. If you are being harassed or feel unsafe, direct message the Moderators or the community manager, @graceful heath.

2. This is a family-friendly server and you must be at least 13 years old to join, as directed by the Discord TOS. Swearing and NSFW content is not allowed. This extends to profiles (usernames, nicknames, avatars, custom statuses, about me, banners etc.) Moderators reserve the right to reset and change your nickname if considered necessary.

3. Keep conversations in English and to their relevant channels. This allows our Moderators to ensure that all conversations and content follow the rules. Comments and conversations in other languages will be removed.

4. No AI generated content is allowed anywhere in the server. This includes (but is not limited to) art, music, text, summaries, concepts, screenshots, videos.

5. Don’t spam. This includes but is not limited to: tagging users or groups, unsolicited DMs, sending too many messages, emojis, pictures, or memes, excessive use of caps, and sending the same message across multiple channels. Memes are limited to #memes-and-media. No exceptions.

6. Promoting and advertising is not allowed. This includes your Twitch channels, Discord servers, and YouTube channels. You may share your Subnautica specific streams and videos in #📺streams-and-videos, but they must follow the server rules (i.e. be family-friendly.)

7. Solicitation, buying, trading, selling of goods and services, asking/begging for game keys and free stuff is not allowed. This includes unauthorized giveaways and competitions.

8. Using alt-accounts to circumvent bans (permanent and temporary) is not permitted. Bot accounts, scripts etc. are also not allowed on this server.

9. No sharing or discussions of content that was** illegally obtained or pirated**. This is not limited to Subnautica or Unknown Worlds properties.

10. Art posted or shared in #1496559635740491907 must be created and owned by you. Art posted can be Subnautica and non-Subnautica related. Do not post art that you did not create yourself. AI generated content (i.e. art, music) is not allowed anywhere in the server. Artwork that you have commissioned is also allowed, but must be accompanied with clear artist credit.

11. Do not tag or direct message the developers. They are hard at work on creating Subnautica and will engage the community in public channels. If you have a concern or urgent question/issue, you can contact the community manager, @graceful heath.

The above list of rules is not comprehensive. The Moderators reserve the right to remove unacceptable content on the server or ban users as necessary. The Moderators' decisions are final and will not be discussed in public channels. If you need a member of the Moderator team, you can tag them in the public channels, or message them directly.
