Hello there to all who developed subnautica ... 1st I wanna let y'all know I'm 60yrs old , & have not played any online games ever ... but I knew that when back in 1981 when I saw my 1st tv commercial for an apple computer , I knew at that moment that this was going to be our future , & I was very excited about it ... life sucks sometimes & in my case my situation didn't allow for me to have those luxuries ... np tho ... I dealt ... so ... my daughter's bf is a streamer & just since this past april or may has shown me the games he plays ... & I'm even more excited about getting myself set up ... ok , now for what I'm really here to say , lol ... night b4 last he played subnautica for me ... & although , yes , I'd love for it to be at least a 2 to 4 player game , c'est la vie ... I " HAD " to let all the developers , & especially the artists how incredible the visuals just blew me away ... I cannot wait to play this game myself ... it was inspirational & throughout the construction processes I kept having visions in my head , of , OMG , how NASA could benefit from the designs that these gamers make , so very much of what is created under nautica's waters can be utilized ( & probably will be ) , 1 day in our future ... I'm a water soul & thourghly love the game ( for just the few hours I spent watching ) , & dang y'all ... the art work just blew my mind ... ty ty ty 🤗 ... keep it comin'

Kinda was going off the base Minecraft model. The models always seem to me at least to have their fists clenched, so I decided to stay to that form

But when you do something for a long time, like drawing and writing... You can pick on certain cues that fresh writers share (like overdescription). For artistst well, you can tell someone has trouble drawing palms because they either are clenched or hidden behind back

When I was a lot younger I preferred to draw more nature esque environments, but I took a break from that and just kept improving character design. I still like nature environments, so I might use those as my start up into environment improvement
