Outside in the distance, you heard the sound of screaming yet the house was quiet. You quickly look for place you could hide, however your curiosity took control of you. What was happening? Why is the government in lockdown? Alongside the shrieking of people coming from outside, there were the sounds of loud but quiet thuds, possibly gunshots that were silenced. You take a risky move to find a better hiding spot. You start to walk up the stairs, and once you reached the top, you see a faint red glow emenating in the dark doorway. You see it.
A long completely red arm with claws that were scraping and cutting into the wood. You try to scream yet you can't for you are frozen in fear of what you are seeing. It slowly moves closer towards you, and the closer it gets your heart beats faster. It's infront of you. It's red arm slowly reaching around you. It then yanks away at your legs causing you to fall quickly, it then grabs your leg and starts dragging you into the darkness.
Then a bright flash came from the roof, and the sound of clinking metal and the unmistakable sound of rifles being cocked. The sound of silenced gunfire fills the room, you cover your ears. The firing ceases, you look back at the entity dragging you. It's now on the ground in a pool of red. You look at the men responsible for killing the creature.

"Who are you?" You ask out of breath.
"I'm David, David Dohen. Callsign Snake."

Me and a @steady moat got inspired off of Trevor Henderson. So We made this mixed reality picture of our custom SCP. SCP-XXXX (The Red Hand of Plague) It might be hard to see the creature. It's a little dark

Experiment mainly, I can recommend the coil technique or whatever its called. Using references is also a big one, a lot of people when they start off drawing don't use references and using references will greatly improve the piece. General anatomy tips: arms stop a bit below where the hips start, and hands end about 1/2 of the way down on the hip.

WORD PAINTING

The poet sits before his blank paper canvas and closes his eyes...
A landscape of words stretches in all directions.
Plotlines rise and fall like hills toward the horizon.
Trees made of metaphors make up forests dense with symbolism.
Rhyme and rhythm flow throughout like rivers of vowels and consonants.
Unorthodox words dwell within the nooks and crannies of the world.
A main theme sheds light on all like the bright midday sun,
Bringing illumination and definition to seemingly-dull phrases.

In his mind, the poet prepares his palette:
A collection of adjectives, nouns, and prepositions
With which to create a masterpiece.
Ideas, images, comparisons, and clever wordplay are
The hues that make up the color scheme.
Ink is his medium, the black liquid swirling within the pen,
Ready to sow the creative seed into the paper.
Everything he needs is in his hand and his head.

The poet opens his eyes and brings the pen to the paper.
Like a broom over an old and dusty floor,
The pen swishes across the blank space, leaving clean lines behind it.
Hard, cold lines intersect with gentle curves to form letters.
Minute details are patiently placed on the page,
And mistakes are painted over with white-out and forgotten.
As the lines are forming and the stanzas are being constructed,
The mind’s dreamscape becomes a physical written reality.

try and connect the lines more, and erase lines that go outside where they're supposed to (e.g. the stripes on the rightmost antenna), if you're making the lines pixel you want to make the shading and coloring pixel as well or it throws off the style of it

the eye also seems hyperdetailed compared to the rest of the picture with the sheer amount of shading and highlighting it has
