don't hesitate to look at real fishes to understand how it works/look ^^ when I draw, a little studying is a great help at understanding how things works, even very alien/fictionnal species. As for tips, the more you draw, the better you'll get so don't get discouraged and keep drawing ^^

what are you aiming to do ?
as for general tips, try to draw daily, doesn't have to be magnificent, but train your hand, use references it's a great help at understanding the anatomy. If you like animation you can even take the time to study movement, it's easier in my humble opinion to draw fancy character pose if you know how the bones joint can move ^^ and again, use references, truly, if I draw for instance a squirrel right now, something I never draw, I will not draw a squirrel but the image I have in my head of a squirrel, so it won't be accurate at all x'D

Task: Draw a creature inspired by Below Zero. This can be an existing creature from Subnautica but in Below Zero, or your own original creation. This can be on it's own, or with a background in any style or format & post in this room, or on twitter using #belowzeroart
The work will be voted by UWE Staff, top 3 will get a Below Zero Steam key, for FREE!

it has 2 upper jaws just like a mosasour

also quite fast/nimble since it can use the end of its tail to quickly change direction and speed up

While Voice Acting isn't usally considered art I tried to reach my vocal pitch limits by doing impressions of some characters from Hollow Knight
