well first of all i'd make the handle so it isn't directly attached to the main body

you know that when you're in edit mode you can add in another object to the existing one right?

so you do that and then you model the handle seperate from the main body

also on those holder thingys at the front you see how they are darker colored right?

select both of them in edit mode and then go to Shading/UV and select recalculate

what happend there was the UV's were inverted which meant if you were going to use that outside of Blender it those parts wouldn't show up because of "backface culling"

it would show up like this (obviously with your model but this is just demonstration)

hey guys, I just wanted to tell you guys about my webcomic. I'm not trying to self - promote, but I thought some of you might enjoy it.

It's an Animesque urban fantasy comic, and It follows the strange adventures of Theo Noordegraaf, a 17 year old boy from North America, who moves to New York for a programming internship with an internet – based shopping firm. He was expecting traffic jams, weird bugs (both software and physical) and eating lots of instant ramen. Instead, he is drawn (no pun intended) into a world of legends, magic, and food much tastier and stranger than a cup of noodles. There’s one problem: this isn’t some fantasy wonderland, and no one is who they seem...
