the long beaked peepers live in the grand reef and feed on the purple pinecones

did you color on the same layer as the lineart? if so try coloring under the lineart so your lines don't disappear into the colors like they are now. if you get weird "white pixels" around the lineart when you have colors under it, set the layer the lineart is on to "multiply"

well remmeber that environment lighting can affect the colors of an object

so the current colors it has give it this "nighttime by the kelp zone" feel to it

they can probably be desaturated a bit or even made to be a bit more blue

I actually made two subnautica fan creatures..This is the first one. I've changed its name to Kooshball Crab; they are as small as ghost crabs and kinda fluffy. Edible and defensive, but can't actually hurt you at all. Their coloration and the little sets of membranes on their head resemble a sea emperor, which is their camouflage/defense. They eat algae and small bits of coral.
