#Would you prefer both Solo and Team Queues available?

What / Why

  • Losing games against top teams on smurf accounts (often 2–3 players together) while I have gold/silver teammates feels unfair and discouraging.
Side note: In games like League of Legends, a duo is only 40% of the team, but here 2 players already make up 66%.
  • Balance is what matters most to me, it should feel fair whether I win or lose.
  • I reached GM with 1000+ RP in past seasons despite this issue, but now I lack the motivation to grind “against the odds.”
  • I could play more with friends, but I prefer solo play where I feel free to take risks without worrying about letting them down.

How

  • A solo queue would feel fairer, with individual skill as the main factor.
  • I understand the concern about a small player base, but imbalance itself drives people away, creating a negative cycle. Fairer options like solo queue could flip this into a positive one.
  • Possible alternatives: Smaller maps with fewer teams when queues waits are too long; “Solo queue days” and “team queue days.”; etc.

Closing Thoughts
I’ll likely wait for such changes before returning. Some players I know feel the same, though others prefer playing with friends, and that’s fine. In that case, the game may simply not be for solo players like me.
I’ve had a lot of fun with this game, and I wish it the best success, whether or not I continue playing.

there arent enough players for you to get teammates of the same skill level

#

when i play on my master account my teammates are silver/bronze, it feels bad in both directions

#

when i play on my plat account at least the teammates are usually plat as well, and if theyre not i dont expect them to play at my level so its finer

#

but it doesnt matter cause theres only 1 lobby anyway

youre gonna see the same 100 ppl in ranked every day regardless
