Since last patch game has become violently bright and fps drops whenever you run into another team. Changed back to x12 and game looks good but my fps isnt stable on it. This is what koby looks like on x11. And my god crysta looks like a flashbang in loading screen she's so bright

We fully reworked DX11 support on latest patch to push for better performance. It now takes a forward render approach which should lead to better GPU usage.

DX11 is still worse in the CPU side.. and DX12 should be best option if your PC supports it.

What’s your GPU and driver version?

Nvidia GTX 980 ver 576.02 I did just try another game on x12 with a mix up in the settings and it ran pretty smoothly.

Thanks btw ❤️

Awesome, I personally playtest with a GTX980 as well, DX12 is well supported on that card, keeping drivers to latest go a long way!

i have the same issue but playing on DX12 makes my fps drop significantly and super unstable, and also crysta is super bright too

mmm GTX1650 should be running DX12 smoothly.

Make sure you have latest drivers installed and perhaps clear out the local shader caches

if you have AV software, perhaps the steam or supervive folder to the Allow List, we have seen issues where AV slows file loads, which leads to shader loading hitches
