These 2 are the peak Supervive designs imo. I made a post before complaining how the character designs in this game looks too simple but Devs actually listened to those feedbacks and now Saros and Eva designs look perfect, not too over designed or too simple just PERFECT.
I play with my group of friends and they all had the same opinions as me about character designs and even them praise and hype about Saros and Eva which means Devs are doing a good job and props to those who designed them.

After Eva launched I was able to see what the team can REALLY do in terms of design (really a lot of the older characters don't have the sauce)
I love supernatural characters and I would love a young and cute character, the opposite of Eva, but who was also related to magic :))

Side note: Do we have a sense of how magic works in this world? Is magic like... a thing people just learn?
Group A: Jin, Brall, Ghost, Shiv, Bishop, Hudson Oath - seem to be mostly to entirely using equipment, or in Oath's case, is equipment.
Group B: Felix, Shrike - seem a mix of equipment and working with a magical creature.
Group C: Saros, Elluna, Eva, Kingpin, Myth - empowered by external entities (Celestial bodies, Forest Spirits, Abyssals)
Group D: Crysta, Joule, Celeste - Soulborn, individuals who have specific affinities for elements, known to be caused by mass energies of the rising
Group B? A? E?: Zeph - is mayyybe doing magic? Maybe just has a big bottle of magic wind in that tank on his back?
Group E?: Void - is very old. Maybe has magic as part of like, secrets of the cosmos?
Group Beebo: Beebo - extradimensional entity of unknowable power and purpose.

i dont know if u can understand but crysta doesnt look supernatural cute character and mostly more like a Gamer cat girl. I was talking about something supernatural like Eva but in a cute/magic way in design terms 🙂 Eva is dark, will be nice a cute witch. And its just something i want to see someday, i dont think they are going release something similar soon so yeah its just an idea

I mean she grows explosive energy crystals from her body. And whereas her engineer background or fact she's in a containment suit could have been played more prominently, they kept her outfit sleek, bright, and in the top half quite femme to hit that cute factor.

That was the point when I said I would like the opposite of Eva. Instead of a femma fatale, a cuter girl who used a more delicate staff or a hand wand... who had pastel tones and looked more like a fairy

Her magic is framed in technology, sure. And she doesn't have the ultra femme frills of your shoujo magical trope. Now, a lot of the tropes you're pulling from seem to be Japanese Lolita fashion's supercharge of femme styles and frills, and then magical girl anime, which started in the 1970s and 1980s respectively. That's maybe a less science coded genre, certainly.

The image was just for illustration, I used AI because I don't know how to draw. But the point is... Eva wears an outfit that matches what is proposed for the character. It would be cool to have a cute character, with a cute dress and long big hair, using a wand, etc.
I won't continue discussing this it's just an idea and what I'd like to see in the game after seeing the design work on Eva which surprised me. There's no need to keep trying to fit existing characters into my idea. It would be cool to have a supernatural character (it doesn't necessarily have to be an elf like Zeph) but who also works with magic and is super cute and sweet wearing a dress... cause from the all designs in the game, Eva is the only one who wear a dress.. and that already defines enough how the game design was until her

I just realized that other than gender presentation and outfit he really fits well. Young, innocent, wields a wand like thing to do magic, elfin, blond. Wasn't a gotcha.
