i feel like if gold was removed, armors were slightly more common, upgrade crystals were slightly more common, and the inactive res beacons became active afer x amount of time, the game wouldn't change that much

I watched a few of the NA custom games and a lot of them end up playing zone and just holding
but here in APAC a lot of times teams bring a base with them and save it for end game to heal/repair armor.
they sometimes even bring an extra res beacon if they get it
theres a lot of utility usage especially with the nuke as well
so gold is definitely important especially for end game repairing armor and moving bases etc
