Unable to drop when I am a drop leader

Almost every time when I am designated as the drop leader, I am unable to drop at my chosen location. No matter where I press on the map, the game does not allow me to initiate the drop. It marks the location that I am choosing, but it doesn't actually drop me there. Instead I am forced to wait until I am automatically dropped at the end of the timer. Even when I pick another location, the same issue still occurs.

My friends, who play with me, do not experience this problem when they are the drop leader - it seems to be affecting just me for some reason. They say it's a skill issue, could that be the case? 🥺 👉 👈

Are you seeing the green circle or the red circle everytime you attempt to drop? It's possible you're getting very unlucky and accidentally clicking on terrain rather than the actual ground (the game will not let you land on terrain as it is considered "out of bounds").

Yes, I do see the green circles when I attempt to drop. When it's red I move it to where it's green. Even to ensure it wasn't an issue with the terrain, I tested it a few times by pressing locations where there was only quite a big piece of 100% actual ground around, and I still experienced the same problem. 🤷‍♀️ Sometimes it works okay. I'll try to catch it on a video if I can:)
