#(Solved) Error: Crash! The Launcher has crashed. Please send....to the support team

when i open the Theorycraft Games Launcher Setup, i get a small loading bar that begins to fill, and then disappears with an error popup. the error reads:
Crash!
The launcher has crashed. Please send LAUNCHER_LOGS_2024....zip file to the support team. Thanks for reporting the issue!

Ok found this on someone else's post that had the same issue

SOLVED:
-navigated to 'C:\Users[userName]\AppData\Local'
-created a new folder called PatchKit
-right click the folder -> properties
-navigated to the "security" tab at the top
-selected group "everyone", then clicked "edit..."
-selected the check box under "allow" for "full control"
-hit OK, and then OK again
-relaunched the installer, working as intended!
