Hey, try logging into https://accounts.theorycraftgames.com/ and downloading the new launcher at the top. Let us know if that fixes your issue.
Have done it, done multiple things. Only thing that bypasses this is somehow doing like 5-6 things at the same time. Flush DNS, Clear cache and cookies, IPv4 > IPv6. Update Driver and also delete game and files and reinstall. But this keeps happening recently last 2 playtests both times.
What DNS server do you use?
Switching to google/cloudflare might resolve what you are seeing
ultimately i solved with what i did last time Bede, but this seems to be a problem thats recurring. i used Googe's DNS, the most updated ones.
but this time i didn't ge the prompt to delete/use old files, i just uninstalled the game prior and it didn't ask me that.
Are you still having that issue with the new launcher? The new launcher has doesn't use your browser to login with username/password, the old one had an issue with passing data from the browser => launcher occasionally.
I will test it tonight when I come back from uni before the playtest
I think that is most likely the issue you're describing. Failure to pass data from browser to launcher.
@sly sable @strange atlas im sure u are both busy rn doing last checks and stuff, so i don't expect answer but, do u know if the VERY LATEST nvidia driver is the best option rn, or should just to be save be at like 2-3-4 versions before? I've been burned by the FINALS releasing with a new driver update specifically to optimise the game and it caused massive issues, a friend of mine's pc got bluescreened and took 3 days to fix. When he ran it after on older driver worked fine, on newest was completely screen tearing and stuttering. Would be nice to know what u guys think, i imagine you 2 probably are who work on the engine/optimisation/launcher etc.
Hey to be honest I don't know. As far as SUPERVIVE goes if you have a driver since 2-3 months ago I don't think you'll have a problem.
We have been recommending drivers that are up to a few months old. As of today, minimum recommended are drivers that were released in February (for similar reasons you mentioned)
