this looks great! pumpkin flowers are kind of yellow. what if the flowers on thicket were a little more yellow to contrast with the bug pumpkin part a bit?

Oh very cool, I wanted to do something similar with the Micoani cause it does seem like a good target for a pumpkin theme

You might be able to do some dry brushing around the edges of the holes on the bulb with a slightly lighter orange to get that discoloration of a pumpkin

I like the yellow for the large flowering part, but trying to make the spewing flowers yellow didn't really look right.
The slight little bright-orange bump on the edges is a bit nicer too
