Only good units on this roster. No gimmicks. Plenty of low cost units, including Max (OP) and Taria and Deadeye, who buff the rest of your team. Try to keep these latter two alive as long as possible. You'll want Deadeye to help counter an Enemy Torian. Use your unit advantage from low cost units to quickly take down enemy units. Zax's gravity disc or, even better, Vortex Assist can be used to pull a unit out for focus fire. Play a little more cautious against Astra players. Wait to play Amplifier Bitol until you have a good smattering of strong units on the board and can use him to greatest effect. Pay attention to how much damage you have on board so you know if and when you should switch targets to the captain.
The only unit I don't LOVE on this roster is Antios, because he can feel slow and weak most of the time (although sometimes he can do a clutch 4 damage (or 5 with Amplifer) and he only costs 1 cinder so it's usually a good trade if you can get at least 1 hit with him, imo) If you wanted to swap something out for another crew, that's the one I'd pick. Maybe put in Rickety if you like to play more aggressive or Florio if you like to play more slow. Or maybe a healer. or whomever your pet unit is.
You can play this roster with any captain since it's only good stuff. but it gets an extra synergy with Zax and Astra since they are ranged units.
Extilior suffers from poor mobility, so you might try to swap out one of the units for Quetzalli or Crankbait if you want to try this list with Extilior. Astra is a little too overpowered right now, so I don't play her on principle, but you do you.
