Hi @quick canyon. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

If you have used up your Pro plan's included AI requests and enabled premium model usage overages, you should be able to continue using premium models, with additional usage billed at $0.04 per request. However, if you are still only able to access the Lite (basic) model even after enabling overages and restarting Warp, there may be an issue.

Here are some things to check and try:

  1. Confirm Overages Are Enabled: Double-check in Settings > Billing and usage that overages are actually enabled and that you have not hit your monthly spending cap. If you have a spending limit set and have reached it, you will be restricted to Lite until the next cycle or until you increase the cap Overages documentation.

  2. Billing Issues: Sometimes, payment or billing sync issues with Stripe can prevent access to premium features, even if you have enabled overages. If you see any payment-related warnings or errors, you may need to resolve them first. There have been reports of data getting out of sync with Stripe, which required manual intervention by Warp support to restore access GitHub Issue #6767.

  3. Restart and Re-login: You mentioned restarting, but also try logging out and back into Warp, as this can sometimes refresh your account status.

  4. Contact Support: If you have confirmed overages are enabled, your payment method is valid, and you still only have access to Lite, this may be a bug or account issue. In that case, contact Warp support directly for assistance.

Summary:
With overages enabled, you should have access to premium models after using up your included Pro requests. If you are stuck on Lite, check your overage settings and spending cap, ensure there are no billing issues, and contact support if the problem persists. This behavior is not expected and may require manual intervention from Warp’s team Overages documentation GitHub Issue #6767.
