Yes, Warp can access the internet. In fact, an active internet connection is required for the initial setup when you first open Warp. After this initial setup, Warp’s core terminal features will work offline, but certain features—such as Warp AI, Warp Drive, session sharing, and other cloud-based collaboration tools—require an internet connection to function. There is currently no explicit "offline mode" that allows you to bypass the initial online setup, and full offline support (including setup and usage without any internet connection) is a frequently requested feature but is not yet available. There is no official ETA for when full offline support might be added to Warp.
