Admittedly, it's weird that this MCP site is not presently part of VS Code itself - it should just appear as if they were extensions - but that's something that VS Code needs to fix. You guys can do something very similar and plunk it right into the Add MCP section of Warp.

However, there is no mention in the knowledge sources of a dedicated “MCP quick install site” or marketplace—like the one VS Code has introduced—being integrated directly into Warp’s UI for browsing and installing MCP servers as extensions.
The current process involves manually adding MCP servers, and while the idea of a more seamless, extension-like experience is compelling, there is no indication that such a feature exists or is planned at this time. If you’d like to see this functionality, you might consider submitting a feature request to the Warp team, as they are actively seeking feedback on MCP-related improvements and have been responsive to user suggestions in the past Model Context Protocol docs, Launch Log 3.
