To hide the "hello hint screen" (the shortcut/hint screen) that appears when you open a new tab in Warp, you can disable it in the settings:
- Go to Settings > Features > Shortcut screen on new tab and turn it off.
- Alternatively, you can open the Command Palette (press
CMD-Pon macOS), search for "Shortcut screen," and disable it from there.
This will prevent the hint/shortcut screen from appearing each time you open a new tab Get rid of hints for a new tab Remove the shortcut suggestion from background and make it clear.

ah thanks, somehow I thought that was only for "Code, plan, build, or run commands" and the AI stuff text directly on the prompt

You can disable input hint text in Warp by following these steps:
- Go to Settings > AI > Show input hint text and toggle it off.
- Alternatively, you can open the Command Palette (
CMD-P), search for "Input hint text," and disable it from there. - You can also right-click on the input editor and find the option to toggle input hint text.
