Has anyone gotten kitty (or iterm or anything) graphics to work on Windows?
I tried ConvertTo-Sixel (from the PowerShell Sixel module) and chafa and viu and termvisage (all of which work in, say, Wezterm), but nothing actually works in Warp.

I can provide some information about Kitty graphics protocol support in Warp.

Good news! Warp recently added support for the Kitty Image Protocol on macOS and Linux in the March 26, 2025 update (v0.2025.03.26.08.10) as mentioned in the Warp changelog.

However, based on the knowledge sources provided, there's no specific information about Kitty graphics protocol support on Windows. The update notes specifically mention that Kitty Image Protocol is supported on macOS and Linux, but Windows isn't mentioned in that context.

Some users have reported success using tools like termvisage with the Kitty protocol in Warp, but these reports don't specify Windows compatibility.

If you're experiencing issues with image display on Windows, it might be because:

  1. The feature might not be fully supported on Windows yet
  2. There might be specific configuration requirements for Windows

For the most up-to-date information, you might want to check the latest Warp documentation or GitHub issues related to Windows-specific Kitty protocol support.

I should note that Warp also supports the iTerm2 image protocol, which might be an alternative to try.

Is there anything else about Warp's features you'd like to know about?

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
