Hi @harsh pelican. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Yes, Warp does support vertical pane splits. This feature was introduced in September 2021 with the release of version v0.2021.09.29.13.26 Changelog (https://docs.warp.dev/getting-started/changelog#id-2021.09.29-v0.2021.09.29.13.26).

You can create vertical pane splits in Warp using the following methods:

  1. Keyboard shortcuts: Use CMD-E for horizontal splits or SHIFT-CMD-E for vertical splits.
  2. Command Palette: Access the split pane options through the Command Palette.
  3. Right-click menu: Right-click in any pane to access the split pane options.

Additionally, as of the April 2023 update, you can also access the split pane options by right-clicking within the Input Editor Changelog (https://docs.warp.dev/getting-started/changelog#id-2023.04.27-v0.2023.04.25.08.05).

If you're having trouble finding these options, you might want to check the keyboard shortcuts section in the settings. The Warp team is also working on improving the search functionality for settings, which should make it easier to find specific features in the future GitHub Issue (https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp/issues/4777).
