Hi @long jackal. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

You can disable the auto-detection for natural language in Warp's Agent Mode through the settings. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to Settings > AI > Auto-detection denylist. If certain shell commands are falsely detected as natural language, you can add those commands to this denylist.

  2. You can also turn off the auto-detection feature completely from Settings > AI > Input Auto-detection.

If you want to exit Agent Mode at any point, you can do so by pressing ESC or CTRL-C. You can also toggle out of Agent Mode with CMD-I on macOS or CTRL-I on Linux.

If you're still experiencing issues, it might be due to a known issue that causes online features to break, which can be resolved by removing the Warp user login and logging in again. If the problem persists, I recommend reaching out to the Warp support team or reporting the issue on their GitHub page[^3^][^7^].

For more information, you can refer to the Warp AI Agent Mode Documentation (https://docs.warp.dev/features/warp-ai/agent-mode#auto-detection-for-natural-language-and-configurable-settings) and the relevant Discord Support Thread (https://discord.com/channels/851854972600451112/1253440267323707454).
