#Deeply confused about the Warp AI limits

I truly love Warp, and I especially appreciate Warp AI. I'm a very very novice Dev building an app and Warp AI is an incredible tool. Or it was incredible, until I blew through the 40 uses in a few days.

I'm so baffled by the tiny cap here. Even if I went to 200, that'd buy me a few more days of use. I thought for sure I could plug in an API key somewhere, but nope, that's not an option either.

The free product is still great, but I would love to just have the option of paying to get more Warp AI use specifically. For users like me, Warp AI is incredibly valuable.

For now, I have the strong feeling I'm simply not the target market, but I would the urge team to consider catering to a broader user base, given how wonderful my experience was for a few days using Warp AI.

Just passing this on. In the meantime, I'm eager to get my next ration of Warp AI use, which I shall stressfully ration.

I really do love the non-AI Warp too though. Awesome job on that!

I understand your concern about the Warp AI request limits. Warp AI is indeed a powerful tool and it's understandable that you'd want to use it more extensively.

Currently, Warp AI is free to use up to 40 requests per user per month on the Free plan. If you find these limits restrictive, you may consider upgrading to the Team plan which allows up to 200 requests per member per month [source (https://discord.com/channels/851854972600451112/1233854830481768591)].

Even if you're not ready to start collaborating with a team, you can still upgrade to a Team plan for your personal usage. To do this, you will need to create a Team in Warp and then upgrade to the paid Warp Team plan, which unlocks access to higher AI limits [source (https://docs.warp.dev/help/plans-subscriptions-and-pricing#how-can-i-upgrade-for-higher-warp-ai-request-limits)].

As for the data privacy, Warp does not allow OpenAI to train their models on your data. Regardless of which Warp plan you are on, your data is never used for training, even on the Free plan. Warp uses OpenAI’s API platform and OpenAI does not train on data from their API platform [source (https://www.warp.dev/warp-ai)].

Your feedback is valuable and I'm sure the Warp team appreciates it. They are constantly working on improving the product and user experience.

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:

Hey @bronze otter We've heard yours and similar feedback an are looking for ways to increase the limits (within reason as they cost us $). We also have plans to offer other plans which may help meet your use case.
