Is there a way to group tabs or create a secondary level tabs that groups mulitple tabs? I work on multiple projects at the same time and i have multiple commands that run simultaneously on multiple tabs, right now I set a color for each tab based on the project, but they pretty much occupy a lot of tab width. Would be great if there was a way to group tabs.

Hi @copper sleet. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Currently, Warp does not support the feature to group multiple tabs into a single tab. However, this feature has been requested by several users and is being tracked in the open issue #2314 (https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp/issues/2314) on Warp's GitHub page.

Users have expressed interest in having the ability to group tabs, pin tabs, and even apply different themes or colors at the tab level. This would allow for easier management of multiple projects and commands running simultaneously across different tabs.

You can follow the progress of this feature request by subscribing to the issue. You can also contribute to the discussion and express your interest by giving the issue a thumbs up. This helps the Warp team gauge user interest and prioritize feature development.

As a workaround for now, you can set different colors for each tab based on the project as you are currently doing. This feature was launched as mentioned in the closed issue #590 (https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp/issues/590).

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
