#Warp on Wayland with clipboard support?

Hi @supple jetty. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
Based on the information provided in the extracts, it appears that Warp does have some issues with Wayland and clipboard support.
In a Github issue (https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp/issues/4240), it was mentioned that WARP_ENABLE_WAYLAND is known to be unstable and buggy. One major issue that users have run into is that copy-paste is not working under native Wayland at the moment. The Warp team is aware of this issue and is hoping to fix it soon.
In another Github issue (https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp/issues/4247), users reported issues with copying text from applications other than Warp not applying to the Warp clipboard. Some users found that restarting the Warp app helped, but this was not a universal solution.
In a Discord support thread (https://discord.com/channels/851854972600451112/1210307572306018305), a user reported issues with getting Warp to work in a WSL2 environment, including issues with the clipboard.
Given these issues, if you heavily rely on the clipboard for your work, it might be best to wait until these issues are resolved before using Warp with Wayland. The Warp team seems to be actively working on these issues, so hopefully, they will be resolved soon.
Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:

We're working on Wayland support and should have some updates in our changelogs. https://docs.warp.dev/getting-started/changelog
