The desert has great music, good lighting, and fun mobs to fight, along with a generally more open atmosphere than some of the others, without being completely open like the sunken sea

I like the sunken sea a lot. Its very pretty and i like how its generally bright and open.

For me it is a tie between the wilderness and the sunken sea. The wilderness has an amazing soundtrack and looks stunning, and the sunken sea does as well.

My favorite biome so far is the Meadow Biome, with Aezos Wilderness a close second. I haven't been through all of the biomes yet, so my favorite may change in the future.

...do unreleased biomes count? Because if so, the Void sub-biome(s). Anything about the Void and I'm all over it (so long as it's done right!).
If it doesn't count, though, them The Passage (I think that's its name?) is my fav so far. Shimmering Frontier is close behind.

Ouf! that's so hard, bc i love aspects of several So Much, while not dealing well at all with other aspects! Ex:
the Sunken Sea music is prob overall my fave in the game, and the Metropolitan sub biome is Great! But Oi do i hate that those damn tentacles will always have a chance to pop up in any sea water within that biome, and i have to keep all my beaches there tilled so they aren't infested!
I've got similar feels about basically all the outer biomes (i love the way the game starts, but once the wall drops, i def think all the biomes are better out there than in close to the core), but if i had to pick just one, it'd prob be the Azeos Wilds...

Sunken Sea! The water is beautiful and before you fight the bosses, seeing them in the water is awesome. I also enjoy the Shimmering.

Shimmering Frontier for sure. The first time I wandered into the first few tiles of it it made me feel like I was somewhere else. Also I love most things blue and shimmery.
A close second would be the Meadow. Bright, peaceful, and the music just gives off a happy and comfortable feeling that we can relax and take a break from discovering the underground

The vibe and mood of The Passage with Urshleim is perfect, feels like an improvement of Clay with Ghorm, I count those 2 together
Second is Azeos's Wilderness. The vibe and sheer amount of stuff to see is awesome

But for full biome : The Shimmering Frontier. First time I came here I spend all my time exploring and forgot about the other biomes for a very looooonnngg time. 😳

I still new to the game but I do love the meadows (I think it called that) where the cows aka moolin are 
I sure I will find one I like more eventually... I mean I have moolin on my lil home area so I not need specific biome for that

I'm a billion years late, but I really enjoy the sunken sea. The music is my favorite by far, and the metropolis-style mazes are the amazing!
