Currently have 73 hours in, the game has been a blast so far. I hands down love it, despite my currently counted deaths of.. 131 time oof.

Been mostly focus on exploration across not just one but several worlds of varying difficulties and settings, but also skill leveling/leveling itself and as well farming materials and items.

Not to count hunting down locales, to the best of what i can make em out as per experience and following informations out on like Core Keeper's wikis and such as. Point in making, I dumped a good amount of time so far into all this and am enjoying it but started running into several issues.

One, is the Second and presumably the Third boss, Gorlock and Malzeth (or something like that for the two) in where I flat out cannot, either or, both keep up with it (the worm) and do enough dmg before it regens due to distance or whatever.

Two, is needing better materials and ideally probably least 2-3 tier level of gears above what I have now as I'm constantly getting wiped either way (both standard and hard worlds) in trying to farm for better set-ups or materials or luck of better setups, ..or etc.

Having least 2 or 3 tiers gears above the ones I got one would help me substantially and give me a proper leg-up for the upcoming two boss fights to do before i can finally get these better gears in the outer rings.

So, a TL;DR, am looking for better gears all around, materials, and just now in afterthought an addition.. furnishings and building's(!!!) cause building stuff is an passion of mine! 💯❤️ But I've been hoping to already have one of my worlds beaten far enough that I got the outer rings unlocked but no luck 😭

Now to go back playing a bit more before calling it a night. (Just crafted 100 spike trap for the worm boss, hoping that'll do it alongside my minions. Going to give it a go and all, before heading to bed if its an bust or success but im officially out/low on tin bars, having only now 19 ores left)

This is a hard game, for early-game to me right now lol.. not gonna lie. But its been an blast! Really can use any help, thanks again!

Wdym by the food/potion tactic for the bosses, to increase my stats? The way i read it or it is worded perhaps, made it sound like some method I'm missing on.

Otherwise what i got from it, was to use potions found or crafted- which i carry (since its my best gear setup at the moment) summoning potion, health, and food buffs. (That varies but am currently using for the worm boss, the summon food too, i think.. id have to boot up my console and check

For sure , well just lemme know what ores and other goodies ya thinking cause I got majority of things in game by the plenty. And I can run around my base and collect the items ya need

The food/Potion tactic I stated is just all the items you stated in your paragraph. Except you have what you need on you. There's food combos good for before fighting, during, and/or potions which all have different cooldowns, so its reccomended to use different ones at your disposal due to cooldowns. Cooking different food or the same food together causes different effects, especially w/fish. Some food are stackable for stats. While regular potions are good for the immediate heals/other stat boost. Also you can toggle the holiday seasons in the settings. And in the stone biome you've been to it will have lots of new gear from the holidays as well that could be useful to ya.

Sorry for the late reply! Been a hectic busy few days with the start of summer schedules plus i ended up catching a bug and been slightly under the weather but bouncing back now.

Been taking the downtimes resting, playing Core Keeper some more. So I got a progress update in where I'm at and what i could use/need, such as.

I finally beat the worm, and now properly kitted i can actually farm the slime and worm bosses efficiently no issues mostly. (Hadnt farmed em by resummoning them, i made new worlds instead and deleted once i finished tasks for it) (Was saving materials and still am)

However, i also beat the third boss malguz or something but struggling to farm it cause im not apparently kitted enough to beat it reliably and efficiently. But besides that, got the great wall down and id like to think i've carefully mapped/explored the three area.

Azero wilderness, is my bane. I died 217 times there. (Bleep) that. I can kite mobs no problems but its those strangler plants that the farmer litters all over the infernal map there, that does me in EVERY time omg i hte that area. Need major gear rework here to survive better, so i can properly explore! Ugh..

I hit sunken sea but havent explored much yet as i was hunting for runesong parts first before starting exploration in the sea for mats, items, filling the map and hunting the phantom spark bow.

The desert of beginning, i explored comfortably but its the shimmering frontier that decked me. Managed to died more there than the azero wilderness so lets not get into that lol..

But all that said, hadnt beat the first titan much less found one. I got least one of each ore nodes being drilled so i have access to, albeit slowly, end game ores and below. (Only dont have tin and pallium or whatever that last one was, being drilled for yet)

My stocks, are slightly comfortable but im not there yet. My base is awful cause i dont wanna use mats for making it yet besides gears and stations. Oh i have access to all

station and am currently working on unlocking solaris bench, then the next as i do have mats forging to get em. (Goal was to craft better gear so i can kill mobs way more easier in the titan areas and freaking survive lol..)

Ideally rn other than above, im trying to up my gears to survive the wilderness, beginnings, and the sea but also to kill mobs there easier as kiting em and letting my minions whittle them down only works so far until i get snagged or stunned or blocked

I need to up materials more, way way more, for such purposes and i really wanted to get a base build going but im stingy on spending materials on what is relatively cosmetic stuff right now when i need better gears

Currently filling map out a bit, hunting runesong parts then going to the sea for the bow. But i might die an X amount of time more lol, but for exploration! Ill hit azero wilderness once i feel like i survive better and can kill mobs faster.

If the mobs and terrain there give me issues, cant imagine fighting the titans- id implode from the frustration of either getting there and finding it.. or just dying lot of times there. (Considering i have to make the materials to summon it apparently)

Difficultly of those larger areas actually goes azeros , then sea, then Desert. Shimmering fronteries is gonna be stupid hard until you get the appropriate gear. If you got to Sunken sea though, I would wonder that region for better loot. The ore in the specific area is pretty crucial too. But as far as gear goes. Make sure to use the upgrade bench and a set of armor you like. Making a base to some degree will have to be necessary if you want certain resources. But I could give you stuff to upgrade or whatever. I also just don't wanna spoil anything for you since that wouldn't be cool

Makes sense- I got those area mostly decently explored and finally managed to get enough ores from there to make solarium set and all that.

Currently working on titans, subbiomes, actual base prepping now, and still some gear rework slightly

But anyway, yeah, i got the runesong parts and can combine it but im hesitant to cause as a collector, i try to have one of each item as a reserve or placeholder for me. Im struggling to combine them lol, my brain says "no dont! Save the materials til you get more!"

But upgrades? I have this and see i can raise it a level but how does that work? What do i have to use for it to upgrade and how many times can i do it

I could use a extra copies of some items im short on or dont have, but i could definitely use tons of building blocks and furnishings for sure, i dont know what else might be out there in terms of those (i'll mention or add to it down the road here)

Could use;

-Max stack or as much as possible of all furnishings, for base building

-as much of ancient coins

-maxed out runesong or parts for it

-maxed out phantom spark bow

-(currently forging em but could use the speedy boost as im going thru alot of em rn) max stack of galaxite bars, solarite bars, pandeium bars (typos likely)

-max stack of every big chest there is, farming for em is tediously slow and im at roughly 5-20 each but i havent even found all of em yet

-potions!

-speedy boat (my boat is too slow)

-2nd lvl gokart as my third level is bit too fast to control decently in tight spaces (we need more "mount" variety here..)

These are what i can think of currently, besides earlier post if nothing changed or such. (Multitasking several things in-game and irl)

The rune song you get can 3 per world so if you want a set of the parts you can do that. The other legend gear you get are limited. There's also gear that that's only 1 per world just so you know about the color rarity.
The upgrade station works by place the gear item you want to level up. The Stats [including backpack now w/recent updates] have the ability to increase the stats of that item to level 19. If you have collected all ore plus coins[money] in the game most of you gear can go up to level 15. 16-19 are a little more work. The station is unlimited as far as uses, it simply based on if you have the resources. And that will be shown in the bottom right hand corner ui in a next box that's says upgrade when you hover over the Golden arrow in the red box kinda in the center of the screen where you place the item you want upgraded. If done cottectly r he item will contain an arrow in its slot box in the top left corner.
As far as items ;
Building blocks no prob, give ya stack of majority. Some or more rare so I'll have to see what I got on those.
Furinish /decorating items are gonna be a little more finite cause I am guilty of mass base building lol so I'll see what I can share there as well.
Coins - I do a quick resource farm for you , and snag a lot of money, you think a chest full of em would be a good amount for ya?
The legend weapons I sadly can't help with the actual parts because I've given most extra stuff away from other worlds. But the axe I can help with, and I can buy the scripts from the merchants to save you 3k if that works on the other ones. But can give you the Pandora shop and everything for the storm chaser weapon.
Bars no problem. I don't think I can give ya max stack of the purple bars. But everything else I should be good.
Chest, is a 2x check I'll give what I can
Potions should be no problem
Speedy boat and gokart is no problem
And if you ever wanna 2x check on other stuff just hmu 🤙

1: I got the Runesong maxed out but hunting for a copy plus it's materials. Collector in me gotta have one of each 🤦‍♂️

Besides that, what did you mean there is a legend gear that's only one per world? Godsend you meant? I got the helm and body, am hunting for the third while hunting for the infernal stupid obliterator ray (my mobs plus challenge arena AND even structure loots there, didnt drop any for me)

2: The upgrade station, i found and figured out managing to max out Runesong. But need the upgrade gems for further upgrades on other gears.

3: Sweet! Sounds good on the building blocks and others like furnishings, just lemme know. I feel you, i love builds having come from games like MC or DQB and even Terraria, such as.

4: yesss, the chestful of ancient coins would help- i manage to stay above 5k most of the time but i never make past 9999. My highest count was 10,023 lol

5: the scripts, ciphers, parchments would help, but with the chest full of ancient coins you're giving- i can tend to those myself afterwards unless you got extras anyway

6: I got the rift altar and crafted everything gear-wise except the stormbringer. I cannot find a dang Obliterator Ray. That, plus the gears- i havent upgraded due to not having mats yet and the gems (coins too)

7: The bars will def help! Dw about the purple ones, i have those reliably drilled for rn in several worlds lol. Same goes for potions and speedy boat, those would help!

Dont need the gokart except for that second level one, as i have the base and fastest.

8: the other stuff- none comes to mind yet but i def need more boss summoning items, locators to efficiently farm them and finding them

1 ) so the rune song, has 3x of each part , you can make 3 ruin songs per world. You cannot do that with items like oracle deck , the gemstem necklace and ring , the goblin ring( it heal over time ) , or the legendary bow only has one per world or the godsend armor you mentioned. Now the storm bringer for example just has stupid low drop rates , I got luck and have a ton of em. But I know that was rng. Cause the molten armor set took me 48times to just get one helmet 😭 . That's all I mean , some people tend to find out how "lucky they are with their world seed at some point. For you, unlucky with the alien tech, and that happens a good amount for some folk.

  2. sweet, this with the ore gimme the day to run my automation system , it's what I do with the game to have all my loot stacked while I sleep at night and then I can just hall all the goodies over to ya. I'll be a few trips just alone with the money to load you up with what ya need

Oh, by the way

Did you have an extra Soul Keeper by any chance? I didnt get the cipher yet but saw they cost 800 endgame bars each to make it, not counting upgrades too afterwards lol

Only thing left would be like the bosses summoning items, definitely need more solarite bars as those upgrades take a good chunk! I got two worlds i hop to and fro that both has em smelting in case. 3x furnaces and 250+ bars smelting but they take time oof. Plus some others

I also now need a Tome of Decay as i tried all my loot sources and exhausted them, no luck. Tried three worlds too, filling out completely the DoB, the Shimmering areas too.

Also trying to fish a dang infernal Miner's Hat to finish my set but no luck. Tried all the chest and dig spots, no luck. Started fishing hours and no luck still

Finally- in relation to fishing, (and probably farming too!) i need the gears related to them. I have two pieces that seems to be fishing related but only one for farming

I burnt thru 2k+ blocks of Desert Temple Blocks and Metropolis Blocks and only am a third done with the base layout 😭

Definitely needing those supplies and gears, to keep building and farming more myself after being properly kitted better

Priority need is Desert Temple Blocks, i need a good stack of em to finish up the flooring in my base. Metropolis too but i have several area full of em that i can farm for em on but the desert temple blocks are scarce to me.

Found only small numbers so far, under a thousand

Finally finished the main floor, now onward to get least 5k metropolis blocks for the east section and another 5k for the west section. Im undecided still with my northern and southern areas

I should be good on desert temple block and metropolis blocks though, from my list- as i found a reliable way to farm 2k each in an hour or less
