Naturally, the Core Keeper soundtrack has a special place in all of our hearts, but we'd love to know what other video game music you've enjoyed over the years! Are you a fan of old-school 8-bit music or more cinematic stuff? Which games do you think went from awesome to masterpiece with the help of a good soundtrack? We wanna know!

For me, I am in love with the NieR: Automata soundtrack. I think they did an amazing job across the board, but the gentler songs are my favourites (Peaceful Sleep is a great track). I also love how the song lyrics are written in a made-up language that was what the composer and vocalist imagined our language/s might sound like far off into the future. I believe they just call it 'Chaos Language' 💖

Ori and the Will of the Wisps, hands down best OST ever made. Metro Exodus and Cyberpunk are my runner-ups.

I'd say that I quite enjoy the OST's of Risk of Rain (both 1 and 2), Ultrakill, and HI-FI Rush.

Never played it (the backlog is eternal), but Ys III and its remake Oath in Felghana. I have a friend who shared the soundtrack with me, and its songs earned permanent spots in my music playlist.

Alllll the Metroid game music! Voidwrought (a super cool indie metroidvania) also has an absolute BANGER soundtrack that fits the vibe super well :D
Risk of Rain 2 + SOTV are also pretty high up there (and core keeper of course!)

It is, without a doubt, Octopath Traveler Franchise, and Xenoblade Chronicles franchise. A Life Sent On is the best videogame song i've heard in a long. long time.

I have so many favorites; too many to be honest!

My favorites range from the 8 bit chippy tunes to the sweeping orchestral game soundtracks of modern games.

Some examples: Mega Man Series, Marvel vs Capcom Series (I'm gonna take you for a ride! Unforgettable!) Final Fantasy Series, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Metroid Series, Soul Calibur Series, Zelda/Link Series, Doom, Diablo and StarCraft Series, Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross, Dark Cloud Series, Ridge Racer/R4 Series, Mario/Luigi Series of Games, Batman/Arkham Asylum Series, Jak & Daxter/Ratchet & Clank Series and so on. Let me stop here.
