I want to start documenting my decorating progress so here it is:) everything is wip unless stated otherwise.
Here we have a magical forest core surrounded by a messy river, and a witchy bedroom (which i built today and it only took way more hours than id like to admit). I think these build sum up the vibes im going for pretty well °•☆
Today i started working on a proper base and abandoned my old crammed, in the middle of what i want to be a bigger waterfeature, ugly mini base.
Photo of the old base, planning out my new house using.. photos of stardew houses stiched together and drawn over a bit, and drawing the foundation in the game using sand blocks (ive since replaced the sand with proper walls of the wood and eerie variety as well as mostly filled the place with eerie flooring, in addition i decorated the bedroom, a 100% practical and 0% pretty 'utilities' room and a tiny bit of decorating on the hallway between them)
Id also like to shout out tito bandito for this beautiful build, which i have and will continue to take inspo from for the house ❤️

I did a horrendous joc stitching this photo together but.. here is my new core decor! I advanced in the story and reached the wilderness, which meant i got to spend multiple hours deforensting the place to stock up on grass blocks!!
I couldnt be bothered to take new photos but ive added some more plants in the water, making it look more full. Also peep the arched bridge i really love how it looks
My headcanon is that there used to be a civilisation that worshipped the core but they dissapeared leaving behind only their decayed and overgrown architecture. They used to bury their dead near the core for ritualistic purposes so youll see a bunch of gravestones around! (And not at all bc i died a lot, no no!)

House update!
Ive build a really cool tower if i do say so myself, it s storage for all my decorations and equipment, it has a bathroom and a vampire living in the attic! (Havent gotten around to decorate the attic properly, mostly just got the vibes across, also forgot to add the vampire himself..)
Kitchen where a few of my fellow witches are having a nice meal and drink. Its functional with one ingridients chest, one cooked food chest and 2 cooking pots.
Roomate! Im charging the merchant rent. The usefulness here comes from having a merchant very close to me when i want to sell stuff and his room also has a vending machine.
Pet nursery! My beloveds! This is my egg hatchery and pet + egg + treats storage.
