With the Cherry Blossom event currently on, I wanted to share this little build I did on a community server.

One thing to note is I found a bug(?) where the wood will branch out and break the Cherry Blossom trees. So if you plan to build this, place any Flooring to block off any tiles where you don't want wood to branch.

The wood could be quite destructive when growing without being contained. The glass floor could help in this case.
I like the idea of having a real resemblance of wood farm with upward trees.

There was actually a bug with gleamwood at one point when it was aggressively spreading out

I looked into this a bit more by asking the dev team and turns out that wood breaking things was never intentional. 
If anyone does find a case of this happening, it’s a bug so please report it!
