Found a zip file and copied over the world.gzip file. It seems to have worked.

#

I have zero memory of what I did here, so I'm going to explore it and add more screenshots when I find anything interesting.

#

This world was from before you could swap between tiers on your workbenches and anvils.
Also before wash basins were added to the game so I've clearly gone and stolen a water well from the cavelings.

#

Old mob farms.
I hadn't set up any sort of killing or collection system so I guess I was supposed to kill the larva and then bridge over to collect the drops.

#

A little garden feature centred around a Ghorm figurine, plus housing for the Cloaked Merchant. I like the color scheme I've used here.
Not so sure about the decorative potted carrocks though...

#

Well I don't recognize this scene at all. It looks like the Ancient Tile ruins, but it's not laying flat on the ground.

#

I've just noticed something else. This was also before the 'Cozy Caverns' update when we became able to attach torches to walls.

#

This one is less interesting, but it looks like at one point dirt ground and tilled dirt were different colors on the minimap.

#

Well what do you know? It's grass ground!

#

Even back then, I was using wooden crates to try and make my exploration bases look lived-in.

#

It's surprising seeing all the little things that have changed. In this picture, you can see how tilled grass used to look. (I tilled that square in the top right just before taking the screenshot)

It seems like the Mold Dungeons changed with time as well.
The generation feels a lot more cavelike. A very interesting difference.

#

I don't know if wooden fishing rods could once be found in wooden crates, but I picked one up earlier while exploring and I saw this one hovering over a broken crate so I think they might have.

It looks like I had explored a fair bit of the Great Wall before I defeated the first three bosses, but I hadn't actually progressed all that far in this world.

#

And that's all there was! A little slice of history that I found on my desktop.
