#Do You Watch Gaming Videos?

My friends and I were recently discussing the kind of things we like to watch on YouTube, and I recommended they watch Markiplier's "The Forest" Let's Play for some giggles. It was at that moment I discovered that NONE of my pals really watch gaming videos online. The general consensus was "if we wanted to see a game being played, why wouldn't we just play it?" πŸ˜†

So, I'm putting it to you now, community. Do you watch gaming videos on YouTube/Twitch? Who are your favourite streamers? Or are you like my friends and think games are best enjoyed exclusively through play?

I'm really keen to hear everybody's opinion this because I was shocked to find out that not everybody enjoys a good Let's Play from time to time!

Aliensrock is someone I enjoy watching often for puzzle and arcade games that I would tend not to play in the near future, and there's also Baalorlord with their Slay the Spire content that I watch on a regular basis

Technoblade is also someone that I've fervently watched, which is one of the closest people I would say to be an idol of mine.

I also like watching video essays on various topics, and also namely Game Maker's Toolkit and Adam Millard for game-related topics

oh ya I absolutely watch people play games. Either watching their play inspires me to try the game, or I get to simply enjoy someone who has taken the time I'll never take to master a game. Like Ryukahr with Mario games. He plays levels I'll never been good enough to play. So I can live vicariously by watching him.

I love watching Neebs Gaming, Ryukahr, CarlSagan42, Welyn, and speedrunner journalists like Kosmic and Karl Jobst.

I watch gaming videos on YouTube, mostly Yogscast. It was Boba and Pedguin that turned me on to Core Keeper originally, and why I always save the mysterious doll set each play through. I started watching Yogs due to AngoryTom's TABS videos around 2015. I'll also watch an occasional Penny Arcade game video on YouTube or stream on Twitch.

I've always only watched videos on YouTube although some content creators do upload vods from streams from twitch, but one of the content creators I do watch a lot is Woops as I've found that I have a somewhat similar taste in video games as him, besides I found out about Core Keeper due to him playing it.

not me about to use this post to find new content creators to binge-watch

Mainly watch gaming videos to figure out whats going on or to get better, ie guides for black myth wukong or high rank players in shooter games like overwatch. Otherwise id watch something if it had a good story like happydays used to cook up for terraria. Heard about parkour civilisation slotting into that role too

I used to watch Cory Kenshin cuz I enjoyed his play through of not so well known horror games. I maintain the assumption he got famous and has no time for his fans anymore ever since he fell off on activity

i do love a good markiplier video
and i love watching hermitcraft videos, it's a nice comfort to just watch something pure and wholesome and fun

i generally watch game videos because i'm not good at games at all and i like seeing people do things i can't
one of those things being having friends you can just call on to play games with
other times it's to see what the game is like without having to buy/download and play it myself

ah, i forgot about GTLive, i love watching them too
which reminds me of another reason why i watch gameplay videos: i love seeing people's reactions and listening to their commentary

Yea gaming is majority of what I watch, especially on YT. I watch a collection of Overwatch 2 streamers and then a few Sims 4 YTubers like James Turner and SatchonSims. James does a lot of let's play series that are long and filled with chaos. 🀣

I watch a lot of gameplays on both YouTube and twitch (I mod for a twitch streamer so I gotta be there haha). My favorite youtubers/streamers are Shadoune666, Fitmc, Polispol and lately I've been frequenting EsVandals streams a lot! Everything in Spanish outside of Fit. I also enjoy gaming content in Portuguese with Pactw HeartBerry

#

Most of them post their twitch content as videos so i watch them as well, Spreen is another creator who makes very good videos from his streaming content

#

If anyone is interested tho πŸ‘€ big streamers Auronplay, Rubius and Komanche are launching their third edition of the Squid Craft games, which will be streamed on twitch as a twitch rivals. There will be creators who speak English even if the main event is in spanish

#

The winner gets 100k$ like in the show, but this is a Minecraft tournament! Super exciting to watch

it's truly the end of an era T~T
but it's bittersweet because i'm happy he gets to be more free with his life now
and i can't wait to see how the new hosts handle things and what they bring to the table

#

GTLive and the other channels are always a joy to watch especially when feeling down or when you need to calm down

I guess what I'd say is be happy that it happened

#
