Base count: 1
Grim Hood Helm (+2)
Chieftan Body (+1)
Chieftan Legs (Activates set bonus of +2)
Soul Medallion Necklace (+1)
2x Puppet Rings (+1, +1)
Maxed Summon/Magic Trees and spamming the book you can get all 9 for about 2seconds, but sustaining 8 is more realistic (so I dropped one of the puppet rings, as shown)

--Also make sure the book is not upgraded, you need the lowest mana cost from the book at it's starting level
