This is my new base so far, i went for a nature theme, with a vast open forest leading to the core, surrounded by vegetation.

Wow I had no idea the game could even look this lush! Excellent usage of the lighting in the game and I especially love how natural the placement of all the foliage looks 
(PS you can get sharper screenshots now in the game by enabling Integer Scaling in Display options, will make it look even better!)
