My favorite thing to do in this game by far is collecting critters, so for my first submission, I have created a small island in the middle of a small lake where a past explorer left behind their net and campfire, ready for critters to be collected.

You can't confine the flying bugs, just have to make the area spawn a lot of them. Land critters have to be confined to islands

I use the bug net to capture flying bugs like the yellow glowbugs above and then set them down. Same with the worms and blackbugs. I literally spend hours walking around with my net capturing them. It's the best lol
