I love your builds, they're really inspiring! I'm always impressed with your creativity to use some items in a really different way, like the lamp post you shared and also the railings for that bridge. Took me a few seconds to understand what they really were and I'm so impressed with how well that worked!

my favorite part is how you used the abyss to make it look like the river was lower than the grass and looks like it goes under the bridge!

Holes in the ground work well for the illusion of creating height, yes :D
You can also place a wall on top of the ground to make it even taller for walls around your build n stuff
