I created a platform and before I attack the hive mother I remove all entrances to it. The spikes kill the minions clearing the view and I just have to shoot at her until she dies. The acid puddles don't show up on stone bridges for some reason, but even if they did you can just use the hoe to get rid of it. It may just take longer. Just dodge the bombs and fire. I've killed her so many times this is actually an unstoppable farm. All I need now is a supply of money to keep getting respawn idols which I get from cooking and farming. as for the other 2 starter bosses glurch is easy and ghorm just requires some spike traps. (mainly did this for hive mother chests. They look cool)
